The Breakfast was very good. I'd also like to apologize for the delay when paying at checkout but there was a technical issue with the Tourism4all virtual payment card from Eurobank which I had no idea about until that moment.

We were delighted with our stay at Iliolothos. Our host Sofia is the most caring and delightful person we have met on our wonderful journey in Greece. She was so informative and helpful and her specific recommendations for dinner and breakfast were outstanding. The room was spacious, clean and well appointed - if it wasn’t for our itinerary we would have loved to stay for a much longer time.

No breakfast. Location was great, right in the middle of Kardamyli. Plenty of options to eat close by. Wish we had more time to stay in the town.

Beautiful suite, kitchen with everything and more, great enclosed backyard, 2 bathrooms, very comfortable bed and couches, cool and minimal furnishings. Nice to have variety and good ingredients to make breakfast.

The location of the apartments is wonderful, just a 6 minute walk from the sea. The apartment had a spacious balcony with excellent sea view and had a fully furnished kitchen. Dimitris, the owner, along with his family were very kind and helpful. We really enjoyed our days there and we hope to come back again!

Small town near enough to Kalamata (airport) but far enough away to not have that hustle and bustle. Great meals to be had (we loved eating at Elies, Dioskouri, and the "New" Old Kardamyli Traditional Restaurant) and scattered shops to browse on the main street. There are pebble beaches and you'll see people swimming but we were there to simply relax and unwind, read, enjoy with weather and practice our Greek (but not to worry, nearly everyone there can speak English). Kritamos has traditional Greek music on Friday nights.

Kardamyli is a very small town.
Kardamyli is a very small town. We were easily able to walk to restaurants and the beach.
We did some hiking in the area. The hiking is interesting, but generally quite steep.
We drove down to the end of the Mani Peninsula, and I am not sure that I would recommend it. The scenery is beautiful but the roads are very narrow, and the dropoffs very steep. At least for us, it was white knuckled driving most of the way.

Kardamyli is a beautiful, unspoilt village.
Kardamyli is a beautiful, unspoilt village. For adults interested in hiking in the hills, swimming in the sea, history and the Greek way of life, it is an absolute joy.
Others may find it rather limited, and I wouldn't particularly recommend it for children.

One night of my 2--night stay was severely spoilt by VERY LOUD disco music from a private event held at Diapori Suites Hotel just north of my accommodation. This went on from 10pm until 02.30am the following morning. Even noise-cancelling headphones didn't work, it was just too loud. If this is the future in Kardamyli, I wonder how many of its current visitors will be returning.

The small ocean front village of Kardamyli is warm and welcoming. You can stroll and shop and have a drink or kayak and ride mountain bikes - it's up to you. The vibe is that of a beach town with a slowed-down pace.

The accomodation was very comfortable and in a beautiful location. The swimming pool was lovely. Kardamilli is a very interesting town with old buildings, restaurants, cafes and beaches. The Old Town is well worth a visit to see tower houses and a museum. The mountain walks from the town offer amazing walks along kaldemieri which are the old mule tracks. The views are stunning and you can access cool valleys as well as the hill tops. There is a bus service to Kalamata, Stoupa and Aghios Nikolaus and taxis are easy to book.

Everting about the house was excellent.
The location, 3 minutes walk form the beach and 3 minutes walk from the mountains and 3 minutes walk form the shops and restaurants of Kardamyli.
The house built in traditional Mani-style is harmoniously situated in a nice garden with a swimming pool and old olive trees. The house was clean and Nikos kindly gave us information about places to visit in the area.
What a gem! Stella Rooms is a 2 minute walk from town, you have views, all you hear is birds. The room I had came with a kitchenette, and Stella supplied me with coffee, pastries, eggs, oranges, bread, cheese and ham. It was a pleasure spending 5 nights in Kardamyli ( initially 2 nights, but I extended my stay), and I look forward to returning.
This accommodation is finished to an impeccable standard and is very spacious and comfortable. Stomatis is a wonderful genial host. Direct access to the sea down rocky steps for good swimmers. Alternatively, 2 beautiful beaches within walking distance. Kardamyli, Stoupa & Agios Nikolaos a short drive away.
What a beautiful place to stay, we absolutely loved Kastro and being in Kardamyli. The beach just a short walk away was wonderful as well, quiet with crystal clear water and a cantina and taverna right by the beach.
