Everything about this hotel is good: the bed was comfortable, there was plenty of space to lay things out, plenty of sockets for charging phones, the tv was large and with connection to streaming services (so bring your paswords), a small fridge in the room to keep cold water (it was summer), the air conditioner was large and quiet and cold, the shower was large (one of those rain shower thingies but this time with enough space to actually wash), a very short distance away from the restaurants and main attractions. The breakfast was simple, tasty and complete with, thankfully, very good coffee. Kind, friendly and helpful staff. Yes, I like this hotel.
FOR MOTORCYCLISTS: If you are off the ferry from Italy or using Arta as a launching site, this hotel is an excellent choice. First, there is inside secured parking via industrial car sized lift so there is absolutely no chance of theft. Second, there is also plenty of off street parking along the side of the hotel in the main square. Either way, no fear of your panniers being stolen or your bike tampered with, not that this happens a lot in Greece anyway and especially not in Arta. Since you don't have to fiddle with panniers, there's plenty of closet space to hang suits, cupboards to put helmets, and balcony space (chairs and railings) to hang fast drying base layers. Most important, that shower though...excellent for washing off that hot day in the saddle.
For any driver looking for fantastic roads: Leave Arta via the E591 towards the main highway E5 but instead of taking a direction either to Ioannina or Athens, cross under the highway and continue on the 30 towards Agio Dimitrios or Peta. Thank me about 45 minutes later when you're on your billionth sweeper and magnificent vista.

Cute little, but conformable apartment for family with 2 adults and two children (but not older than 14). It is very clean. The owner is absolutely fantastic! She is very kind lady, always prepared to help you if needed. She doesn't speak english, but somehow we understood each other almost all the time. Her children, who do speak english are always ready for communication with you, either by phone or by the Booking message system.
We were out of season so it wasn't crowded. It appears to be an unadvertised gem of a place. We had a stunningly beautiful apartment for a week. Plenty of tavernas and stylish wine bars and cafes. Kinds of beaches to suit all tastes. You should go with a car to make the most of the surrounding area (visit the Koprena lighthouse and Koronisia). Wildlife wetlands close by (flamingos, pelicans, cormorants etc). The town itself is all contained in a very walkable area between a small fishing harbour and a barge wharf at the other end of the akti. Walk beyond the fishing harbour and marvel at the sedimentary rocks on the foreshore. Visit nearby Arta and its historic bridge - nice cafes by the river.
