The staff was extremely friendly, the apartment was clean, and even the smallest of amenities were provided (hygiene kits, mosquito repelent, sewing kit!). The place is very cozy and quiet, the only downside is a few steep steps (like the name suggest), that could be difficult for the elderly. Otherwise highly recommend!

Lovely stay, great location, spotless clean. Spiros and his wife Eleni are so welcoming and nothing is too much trouble. Sun loungers are available on the beach at Spiros and Eleni's house which is great as this saves having to pay 15 euro for 2 loungers. Kitchenette is ideal for what we needed it for and for someone worried about germs it was a really great touch for me that a new dish cloth, scrubber and bottle of washing up liquid were provided. Air conditioning is brilliant and also included in the price. Location is great, a short walk away from the bars and restaurants in Messonghi. Spiros also organised a taxi for us to and from the airport which cost 45 euros. Beware of greedy taxi men who tell you it is 50! Only for Spiros had told us it cost 45 euro we would have paid this - only a fiver more yes but it is the principle really..

We very much enjoyed our stay here! The first thing we noticed was the amazing view on the ocean and the friendliness of the host. Our rooms were super comfy, the bed spacious and comfortable and with all windows and doors having mosquito nets, we didn't have any issues with mosquitos either. We can absolutely recommend coming here ^^ It's easier to get to it with a vehicle as it's a bit of a climb.

It was not far from the beach and there were all the necessary stores in the immediate vicinity. Across the street was a great Greek restaurant with the best octopus we have eaten on Corfu.
It's a quaint, rustic place. Small with some nice restaurants and small selection of bars. It's safe and if you're a runner you'll enjoy some nice hilly runs along the coast. Also saw some people out on road bikes, with mountains close by I'd say there are great climbs and views from the top. The weather was amazing for the time of the year, the sea is absolutely gorgeous and the people are lovely, very welcoming and helpful. Loved that we had the option of going to Corfu Town which is only 30/40 mins on a local bus. Also the famous SiSi Empress of Austria has a summer palace close by and that is well worth visiting, stunning bit of culture and amazing views.

Because of some abandoned buildings and trash everywhere, an abandoned and rusting boat on the shore of Mesongi river, unkept roads, the town seems a bit run-down. There aren't many buildings that catch your eyes as authentic, there are businesses everywhere, car rentals, souvenir and other shops that cover the loveliness of most buildings along the main road. It is a tourist town and not a place with an air of being authentic Corfian. Also, everything seems to be overpriced.

Surprisingly, pretty vibrant at night.
Surprisingly, pretty vibrant at night. It is a smaller-size village you can zig-zag the whole place in 30 minutes. But, it has everything, restaurants, bars, supermarkets, rentals and many tourists there so it feels "bigger" and more lively. From Messonghi, you can easily walk, or ride a bike to Moraitika, as it is very close. It is super hot in July and August. Protect yourself at all times. You'll get sunburns easily. Beach is nice, not the best in Corfu but nice, with plenty of loungers, beach-front hotels. Pebble stones mixed with sandy spots. Mostly pebbles. I have been to Greece many times, different locations, most places I have been to had open door policy for using swimming pools, or buy a drink and stay kind of policy. Not in Messonghi. All the places I visited I was told pool was for residents/guests only. Overall a very good spot for a relaxing holiday. Much better than Benitses. (I have been to both now) Taxi from the Airport costs 50 Eur.

We love Messonghi, its very friendly and laid back.
We love Messonghi, its very friendly and laid back. There are good supermarkets for self catering if needed, a few very good places to eat, lovely coffee shop. Everything is in walking distance and mainly flat. A very relaxing place. We ate at Taverna Minori many times, Kerali, To Meraki, Mojo's and Bo the Butcher and tried Archontiko for the first time. In our experience these are the best places in Messonghi to eat.

The staff were superb! Eleni drove my sister to the doctor when she was feeling ill and was so kind and helpful. They also booked tours for us and gave us excellent information. The pool was relaxing- there were floats for us to use and enjoy. Room service was friendly and excellent too. Whilst you aren't in the centre of Corfu there is an easy bus to take you there and you can book tours directly from where you stay. The beach was nice, people were friendly and we were really happy with our choice.
Tastefully designed, calming, great team. Sense of privacy, but everything is accessible. Pool area beautiful and wasn’t overcrowded. Restaurant and bar accessible throughout the day and evening.
A wonderful place to relax and unwind, it was difficult to leave and explore Corfu, which is a stunning island and so much more beautiful than we anticipated.
Congratulations to The Olivar Suites team, you have delivered something of beauty, it was a joy to experience.
Access was easy and all the facilities were everything you needed.
Nice balcony with a nice view over the town.
If I decide to return to Corfu I'd hopefully get into this apartment again.
The team at the Hotel is very kind, and professional (Dimitri is very helpfull guy, Alex is a superman)
The location is great, the beach is fantastic.
Hotel is very clean
