A family-run hotel with a nice front yard with lemon and orange trees where you have the breakfast every morning. Nikos' family. is very kind, polite, and helpful. Nikos is a soapmaker so the whole hotel smells nicely. We bought couple of his soaps to take home and got an additional as a present. Whatever you need this family will do its best to help or answer your questions. The beach in Platanias is very nice but we spent most of our time on Mikro beach which is fantastic. Xrisi Akti tavern on the beach is a must. Des Roses is a nice place for a quiet vacation. We are definitely coming back next year. This part of Pelion is a real hidden gem.

The location is lovely, it’s not so easy to get but definitely doable. There is a lovely old picturesque path that leads to the town of Lavkos, which is an old small village full of character, a few restaurants, a butcher and a bakery (which is super lovely from 1905) and a few shops. It’s a 8 min walk maybe and it’s easy to do. At the property, the view is just breathtaking, the villas are traditional mountain style, surrounded by greenery and cute terraces. The pool is just lovely with the most stunning view over the sea and mountains. There is a small terrace above the pool with seating and also a few seats around the reception area. The staff is really wonderful Tatiana and the man at reception. Tatiana went out of her way to surprise my kids and is really a great asset to have. Also the cleaning staff is super friendly and does a great job. The villa was very clean upon arrival. The beds are really comfortable as the pillows, the sheets and towels get changed every 2 days and a fast refresh clean of the villa which was really nice.

Location, vibe of the place, cleanliness. We felt instantly disconnected from our stressful lives. This little cottage has a fully equipped kitchen, a large bathroom, a large shower, a nice terrace where to have you coffee and look the sea. Gorgeous location, stunning view and very welcoming by our host. Lovely private terrace with sea views and garden furniture. Swimming opportunities directly from the property, although a little agility is required to enter and exit water. Well equipped kitchen for self catering. Nearby Milina has a number of restaurants and cafès. Car useful. Highly recommended.
