Monemvasia is a must visit place if you are traveling to Greece! Packing light is helpful as cars are not able to access beyond the castle walls. You may drive to the top of the road and drop off bags at the gate then park where you can find a spot along the road. Likinia is towards the end of the path. Keep walking the main path then follow the signs. It is very quiet spot away from the stores and cafes giving it a more secluded feel. The rooms are historic and beautiful. We were welcomed with a bottle of local wine. Room was very comfortable and clean. The staff was lovely, kind, welcoming, and considerate. Breakfast was served in the garden and was delicious. One of my favorite places we visited in Greece!

The recently renovated Hotel Aktaion is located right at the entrance of the bridge leading to the castle of Monemvasia. It offers stunning views of the rock of Monemvasia and its small port.

Good value. A simple property but clean. Host was very friendly and informative, and the lady who set out our lovely breakfast was friendly as well. Good location to go for a swim across the road and only minutes away from Monemvasia old town.

Room was spacious—even by U.S. standards! Loved the water view and balcony. Loved having a roomy bathroom with a shower that doesn't result in half the bathroom floor getting wet. Pleasant and knowledgeable staff. Would return in a heartbeat!
