Marianna Hotel is located in Perissa, only 984 feet from the famous black sandy beach. The family-run hotel offers an outdoor pool with sun-lounger terrace and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

Wonderful location, breakfast, rooms, view. It’s walkable to the beach and a great value for the price. Will be back. Traci at front desk was incredible!

Meltemi Village Hotel is conveniently located only 1148 ft. from the black sandy beach of Perissa, and right in the middle of the area's main activities.

The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The pools were nice, and the hotel was right next to the bus stop which was very convenient. The airport transfer we booked through them went smoothly.

    Good selection of shops, eateries, bars and great bakeries. Good bus service to Fira. We all hear about the sunset on the other side of the island. But nobody speaks of the sunrise on this side. We were down on the beach to see it on 3 occasions. Fantastic. Red, orange, yellow. Then the golden sun appears. I am 74 and have travelled wide. This experience was exceptional.

    We really loved Perissa.

    We really loved Perissa. It was beautiful and avoided the crowds associated with Fira and Oia. There were lots of restaurants from which to choose, and all the ones we ate at were delicious. The beach was beautiful and we enjoyed walking along the beach road each day. The treats from the 24-hour bakery were awesome. We easily rented a car in Perissa to do spend a day doing some sightseeing. We also did a tour that went to other towns, so we didn't limit ourselves to Perissa. We didn't get to see everything, though, and would have loved to stay longer. We really liked that Perissa was laid-back and casual.

    This resort is ideal if you want a beach type holiday plenty of bars and restaurants with a lovely beach. You can also walk up to Ancient Thirisia if you feel energetic but I advise set of early before the sun gets to warm

    In my opinion, this is one of the best cities to relax and enjoy yourself comfortably. The beach is lined with various establishments, and in front of them are sun loungers (they cost 20 euros for the day, but you can stay for free if it’s just for a short time). There are also plenty of shops selling groceries and souvenirs. The water is great, and the beach surface is nice for walking barefoot, though it can be a bit slippery at first.

    Perissa really is very nice village.

    Perissa really is very nice village. It is not like in OIA or FIRA (aglomeration and spectacular view of the VULCAN), but they have a big beach and also a lot of terasses and restaurants. Hotels and supermarkets. And the people in Perissa are very nice. Don't miss PERISSA. You will be surprised.

    Taxis to and from Perissa are about 30-35 euros per trip (...

    Taxis to and from Perissa are about 30-35 euros per trip (arranged with the villa). The taxi from the airport to the villa was 45 euros (Takes 20 mins) A trip to Kamari involves many beach bars and lovely beaches. Do not go there however if you want to see landmarks as there are hardly any unless you want to walk for miles. Thira is a beautiful place with some some great museums, churches and art galleries. It also have some of the best views you’ll see in the whole world. Cruises bring in tourists every day There are many beach bars in Perissa and you won’t be short of places to go for food. Bobs bar is a great bar and Meltemi Bar is great for some Live music (Wednesdays and Sundays) There is also a supermarket about 100 yards away from the villa so that is perfect. I highly recommend doing the Bus and Boat tours organised by Kamari Tours. They have a base near the beach where you can book them. Bus tour costs around 51 euros and Boat Tour 65 euros (with swimming 90 euros) I won’t going into much detail as I don’t want to spoil it but highly recommend.

    This hotel was perfect! 1 min walking to the beach, our room was on the back side so we had shade in the morning, breakfast had an amazing view, but the best were Cristina and Rita who made us feel like family. The room was spotless clean, the girls were amazing and we should definitely choose this hotel again when we're back in Santorini because everything was perfect! Furthermore, Theo was great in helping us with everything we needed , especially we appreciated the early check-in

    A brand new hotel, with a beautiful pool area overlooking the Santorini mountains. The room is modern with plenty of space and modern bathroom. Linen, towels and pillows etc were of a high quality. Short walk to Perissa beach and plenty of parking. A lovely side of the island to avoid the craziness of Fira and Oia but still close enough to access all parts of the island easily.
