From the moment we arrived the staff made us so welcome, they offered us a number of rooms so we could choose, made us food after a long journey and were so kind and friendly. The pool was beautiful, we saw the chickens, the environment was safe and welcoming. Travelling alone with a small child for the first time was daunting but they completely put us at ease.

The Rethymno Village is just 100 metres from the fine sand and blue sea of Platania’s beach. It offers a Greek restaurant and a fresh-water pool with pool-side snack bar.

Everything was great , specially the stuff , only negative but normal I admit is that the water temperature in the outdoor pool sometimes was a bit cold when it was cloudy.

Nice and clean apartment, comfortable beds. The staff is super friendly and helpful. The pool should be okay with warm weather, in October it was too cold for bathing, colder than the sea. The goodbye gift was very nice.

Excellent service and host! Lily is a wonderful person and her Cottage has everything you need. Fully equipped kitchen, very good beds, cozy and functional seating area, terrace and patio. The garden is so beautiful and the pool clean and big enough. The location is excellent: you can walk to the taverna and supermarket and more tavernas and shops and the beach within 5 min drive. No neighbours nearby but everything so close. Wi-Fi works fast and there’s even Netflix. We can truly recommend this place!
