Lovely little town with beautiful colonial architecture.

Lovely little town with beautiful colonial architecture. It is very close to a national park where you can do hiking, there are a couple of small museums to visit (including one old fort), there are thermal baths close by. I felt very safe and enjoyed myself in this lovely location.

Gracias is as charming as ever.

Gracias is as charming as ever. If anything, there are more cafes now. Those around San Sebastian Church plaza are my favorites - Bistro Stela has a kiosk right on the plaza, Camino Maya has a cafe adjacent to the bontaical gardens next door, and Coffee Book has a spot overlooking both with terraces on two levels above ground and lots of books to read!
