We liked everything. The staff were some of the nicest that we have ever encountered. The place is beautiful with lots of unique artwork. The restaurant was superb and the one seafood dish I had was one of the best things I’ve ever eaten! Our room was on the second floor and had a great view. The exterior setting is way cool with the trees, pools, ocean, and all the lights at night.

The huge pool was refreshing and very clean. We didn't have any issues with sand fleas or mosquitoes as we've had in the past at other Roatan hotels. Free pickup at the ferry and transportation to the airport was fabulous. Our driver showed up early and quickly got us to where we wanted to go. They give you a free gallon of water when you arrive since you can't drink the tap water in Honduras. There are two restaurants on site that have great menus and service. The property is between the ferry and airport and close to both of them for a short commute. This property seems to be more for residents as there seemed to be more older clientele there for longer stays. Property was nice, quiet and exactly what we needed for a short stay over.

The property is divided into two portions with the office, dive center, docks and rooms on one side of the water and the restaurants, villas, and additional docks on the other side, which also has lounging areas and lots of greenery, well tended grounds. The two bedroom villa was nice in size with large bedrooms and a common space in between that was a bit smaller but comfortable. Cooked dinner a couple days and the kitchen was well outfitted for this. The restaurant is very good, but the menu is small and this can wear after several days. They did an excellent Xmas dinner though. The main reason we came here was to dive and the dive center is well run. The dive staff take care of tanks, BCDs, regs, fins, setting up gear before the boat leaves the dock, so all you do is come aboard with your wetsuit, booties, and head off to dive, and they unload for you after, all of which is a luxury. The diving was great and this would definitely bring us back

Jim and Alex transferred us from the airport to the facility. The rooms were very clean, coffee provided. Roof area was great. The only downside I had was no hairdryer and the Pool bathroom had no toliet paper.

Beautiful - CLEAN - island! Took the ferry from the mainland (returned by air) rented a car (had to go to the airport to get it). Had a full home with kitchen and, although we did shop at a very modern supermarket, we also ate in several restaurants. All good!
Small island, easy to get around on very good highways (some road construction). We are an older couple so mostly sight seeing, monkeys and sloths were lots of fun, most people come for the water sports I would think.

The island has undergone alot of development in the two decades we were last there and so there is relatively more to do and a larger range of places to stay. Its strength as a wonderful spot for scuba divers is still intact even though there has been some impact to the coral, but not nearly as much as many other places, sadly. There are plenty of sealife and variety of places to dive.

We absolutely loved our place, the managers were very accommodating and the Villa was gorgeous. The pool was very clean and refreshing, we were in it all day everyday. My husband had an accident and needed stitches and Nigel our boat driver went above and beyond to help us get him medical assistance. We’ll be back for sure

Even though this is mostly a diving destination, it would still be perfect for relaxation and beach time. Two of our favorite restaurants were Sandy Buns Bakery and Pura Vita. Sandy Buns had the best breakfasts. We had dinner at Pura Vita five times. Most of the island food is deep fried, but Pura Vita is all fresh. The ceviche was the finest we have ever had. Book a tour of the island, go through the mangrove trees, skip the sloth and monkey park. Take US cash since it is accepted everywhere. Many places put a surcharge on using a credit card. Cabs or water taxi will get you anywhere you need to go on the island. Stick to the west end for the best beaches.

Beautiful beaches, snorkeling and diving.
Beautiful beaches, snorkeling and diving. Locals are friendly and helpful. West Bay Beach is laid back and upscale, West End is perfect for party/young people. Great place for families or couples. A real mix of restaurants and resorts to fit any budget. Love it here!

If it wasn’t for Jose and Chris I wouldn’t have much good to say. Both Jose and Chris made the stay. they took us diving and showed us the Big French Key. The diving was full service, I asked to see an animal and they always delivered. They really are the best part of the hotel.
It is next to a large grocery store and it has a few places to eat in the area.
location is great, right on a beach. Lounge chairs and umbrellas provided. Diving center on the site. Rooms exactly what you see on pictures. Good restaurant on site, gives you discount if you stay in the Hotel
