I have made a last minute reservation. I have tried to calm several times but there was no answer. The hotel is in a forest area and the side walk to the entrance did not have proper lights but was pitch dark. So eventually had to book another place in Slovakia. Definitely not recommended as a last minute booking and on a Sunday night.

We love everything ! The place is so cozy. There's everything you need for cooking, 3 comfy beds, information for tourist attractions around the area. The owner is so attentive. He promptly replied when we had some questions. The accommodation is in the best area if you love hiking. It took 40 minutes for a slow walker like me 😀 to reach Somoska castle. And it takes only 7 minute drive to SPAR the closest supermarket. We will definitely come back here again.

    Such a beautiful town!

    Such a beautiful town! Words cannot describe, it’s a place you just have to visit to experience its beauty. The serenity, the landscape is beyond stunning. I got lost in looking at all the beautiful trees and listening to all the birds. The people are all so friendly. I loved every second I spent here. The food is another level. It’s hard to choose which bakery and cake shop to eat from as there are so many. All of which are fresh and tasty. There are so many restaurants and smaller food /take away shops to choose from also. Salgótarján stole my heart for sure!
