Very good breakfast. Domestic hungarian food for dinner. Fruit and cakes included both. Nice cocktails and drinks at the bar. Lot of amusement: pool, whirlpool, saunas, salt room, gym, billiard, dart, airhockey, chess, books, everything. Perfect professional massages. Very kind stuff. Clean, comfortable, quiet, safe. Not far from Furdo and thermal lake. Perfect location. Parking. Recomend as perfect value for the money.

Zalakaros is a small, cozy town that’s both beautiful and impeccably maintained. It’s the kind of place you just want to stay and soak in; there’s a charming, relaxed vibe with everyone in vacation mode, enjoying the moment without a rush. The resort-town atmosphere is delightful, and every corner feels inviting and peaceful.

Most people head to Zalakaros for the thermal spa but it has plenty more and the surrounding countryside is a bird and nature-lover's paradise. The town itself is packed with restaurants and places to drink, and the termal-to behind the spa complex is a lovely walk-through woods and landscaped parkland with a strange viewing tower and public toilets. We didn't actually use the spa but it looks huge with many facilities and there is free parking throughout Zalakaros. We ate in Nagyapam Borozo, Frisko restaurant and had the best cakes ever in Segreto. All the food was excellent quality and well-priced (average €30 for two mains and wine). We are going back in the spring when the annual bird migration brings bee eaters, spoonbills, terns and all manner of visitors to Kis Balaton just 20 mins drive up the road. Check out Kanyavari sziget (where we saw four white-tailed eagles from the observation tower) for a lovely full or half day stroll and picnic and buy some kismedve sajt from the friendly lady at the base of the amazing wooden bridge. The smoked goat's cheese is to die for.

The small town is a bit neglected, the pavement is potholed, and the evening lighting is also weak. The spa mainly focuses on families with children. The swimming pool was closed, replaced by a water park for children. So there is no proper swimming pool. Restaurant options are very poor. Very high prices with very bad food. There was only one exception, the main building upstairs restaurant.

As written the wellness was the only part that met our expectations. The service was slow, the staff very unfriendly. The food was ok for adults but very poor options for kids. And that for a lot of money. There are much better wellness hotels where I’ve already been.

The hotel is very welcoming, the food is good and the spa is amazing. The spa is connected to the hotel, so there is no need to go outside of the hotel. The hotel provides the towels and bathrobe. The room is very clean, there are basic toileteries. The price-performance is exceptional. This was our second stay in this year ☺️
big enough, clean, free parking, kitchen, good location. was not expecting to be like that, because it’s a really good price. breakfast and dinner are optional in the hotel next to it, but it has an underground connection, which is great. We really liked it.
Clean rooms, the street was very quite, mr. Laszlo was very friendly and helpful, Zalakaros thermal baths, parks and others were very close, rabbits in the garden it was very great for my 8 months old son.
