The location is strategic, and if you are lucky, you can ask the room with beautiful views to the bridge and the receptionist allowed us to do early check in, so was good point.

The bed and shower were both great. Bed 10/10 and shower 9/10. The room was spacious and well appointed. The breakfast was ok, with an egg-preparing station and toaster with a nice supply of breads. The location of the hotel was pretty central and on a quiet street. Ambon itself is not what I would call a beautiful city, more like a mini version of Colombo, mixed with Manila and Jakarta. If you have been to those places, you will know what I am saying. The waterfront market in the early morning was quite active and should not be missed.

Good location. Especially for port. Well priced and reasonably good food. Friendly staff. Good value accommodation. Allowed us to leave kit as we travelled to Banda. We ate at Sari Gurih a minute’s walk away. Excellent portion sizes and taste justifies the slightly higher prices. Tho they grumble about credit card payment.
