Nearest beach to Jakarta .... max 2-1/2 ~ 3 hrs drive. Good toll connection and non-toll part is quite improved now ! Not many great hotels as all old ones are quite run down ! But few new excellent options have come up like Novus Jiva / Aston / Double G etc and they have great facilities and view settings. Chose depending on what you like......resort setting Or beach ?? This is not Bali Or Phuket ...so don't raise your expectations too high ! Few nice sea-food joints opposite Marbella and along the stretch...can't remember the names as all look similar !Guest review byJsdaarjiIndonesia

Staff at the restaurant were very attentive and even offered to bring us coffee or other stuff even when breakfast was a buffet. Not a lot of choices for food, though.
