We absolutely loved our stay! We could not have asked for more, every staff member we encountered during our stay was warm, friendly, welcoming and nothing was too much trouble. The restaurant made a beautiful birthday cake for one of our parties 60th and sang happy birthday to her.
The pool was like getting into a warm bath, the gardens and flowers surrounding us were gorgeous, and the birds!!!!! Beautiful birds indeed!
The views from our villa left us gobsmacked. It felt like being in an episode of White Lotus minus the murders of course.
We would highly recommend this beautiful, peaceful relaxing place to anyone.

Villa Manouria in Padangbai offered a pleasant stay with a beautiful setting and a relaxing atmosphere. The villa had a charming design and was surrounded by lush greenery, making it a great spot to unwind. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding a personal touch to the experience. However, there were a few areas for improvement—some amenities could be better maintained, and the location, while peaceful, required some effort to access. Despite this, it was a good stay overall and a nice option for those looking for a quiet getaway.
Offering a garden and a shared lounge, Harmony Guest House in Padangbai is close to Padang Bai Beach and Blue Lagoon Beach. This beachfront property offers access to a terrace.

Able to have after hours check in. Super friendly staff and helpful with travel plans.

Convenient for our purpose as a link to the Gilis and Lombok...most people were in transit to these destinations as Padang Bai is a ferry port. Wouldn't recommend for a beach holiday but more than adequate for the reasons stated. We we out of season so less human traffic. Not for us in High Season.

Padangbai is a beautiful place with magnificent views and many accommodation places are dotted up the mountain side. The township itself is a vibrant little place mainly used as a place for catching a ferry to one of the islands off mainland Bali. There were many scuba divers in the area and it appeared that Padangbai was geared to people who were either going on scuba dives or travelling to the next island.

You don't need to stay over night unless your a diver, snorkelling this site can be done in two hours, come early morning to avoid the afternoon sea breeze. The taxi drivers are aggressive and more expensive than anywhere else in Bali, wonder why? It's run by an organised cartel.

We had never heard of PadangBai and only visited to catch the ferry to Nusa Lebongan. Pleasantly surprised to find this small town offering good restaurants, live music (Omani Omang), good diving (Absolute Dive), and pretty scenery.
The negative is the amount of plastic garbage in the sea and on the beaches. I don’t know if this is common to the region, but I strongly recommend the communities make a concerted effort to clean this up. The plastic garbage was appalling and detracted from the ambience.

The owners are a very friendly local family and are original Padang Bai residents. They were extremely helpful and took great care of us, especially when my mum was sick for several days during our stay. Staying at Celagi, while on the budget side, gave us a wonderful insight into local life and culture. The breakfast was excellent and the view from the rooftop terrace over the harbour was always something to look forward to in the mornings.
Bloo lagoon offered us a sanctuary from the busyness and noisy padangbai port. The wifi ws great for working and the views over the bay and mt Agung were spectacular. Breakfast was a wonderful buffet of healthy and big breakfast style fare that would satisfy all taste buds. The bonus was of course the decent espresso machine with staff that know how to use it!
One of the best places I've stayed at in Bali.
The grandma who runs this place is absolutely delightful and is always there to lend a helping hand. This place is like a true Balinese house, where large families live together, including sons, daughters, in-laws, and grandchildren. It's just a short 10-minute walk to Bias Tugel Beach and not too far from Padang Bai Harbor, making it a convenient location if you're planning a trip to Lombok.
The Hotel location is so close to the Pier. The hotel room is very good with all needed. Breakfast is good too. I will come back again if I stay in Padang bai.
