We loved the beautiful natural environment/ the rooms with high ceilings and the semi outdoor washrooms with two mirrors and two sinks
The two restaurants served a diverse menu with delicious entrees with an exceptional breakfast. The outstanding beauty surrounding the Semara restaurant .
We just loved sitting there at breakfast . The most important aspect of the Inara was the staff. We can’t say enough good things about them .
So many people to thank for their warm and kind hospitality ! Yan Ari and Dwi the sweetest two young ladies. And a special thank you to Tiwi/Dani/Saras
and Yani who suggested I try my hand at the rindik xylophone ! And thank you to the young men you did such a great job in preparing our rooms everyday.
Lastly to the beautiful Yuliartini who arranged special transport to and from the Adiwana, the Inara and the Samanvaya resorts.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at COMO Shambhala Estate in Bali with my family, and it was an extraordinary experience. The resort is set in a beautifully maintained natural environment, with stunning landscaping that enhances the serene atmosphere. The world-class facilities are top-notch, offering everything you could need for a relaxing and rejuvenating stay.
The food at the resort is amazing, and the chefs are incredibly accommodating of any special requests, ensuring that every meal is a delight. The warmth and hospitality of the staff truly stand out, making us feel welcomed and valued throughout our stay.
A special mention must go to Ayu, our personal assistant, who was exceptional in attending to our every need. Her readiness to execute any request with a smile made our experience even more memorable.
Overall, COMO Shambhala Estate provided an awesome experience for our family, and we can't wait to

Payangan is about 20 - 30 minutes out of Ubud, depending on traffic. It is an excellent introduction to Balinese village life and the 'real' Bali. There are no facilities except some basic little general stores, and no ATM in the village. Outside of the hotels, there are no restaurants. It's a 'get away from it all' destination.

- Little flaws in the room (airco and fan not working properly)
- Little bit overpriced (laundry service, taxi service)
- Staff should put out cushions by the pool when pool opens (we had to ask after being there for 2 hours)
- The charge of 10% service fee on everything really bothered us.

The area is spectacularly beautiful however it cops a lot of rain and there can be land slides which cut road access. Our hotel (Adiwana Dara Ayu Villas) was a long way from other properties, so eating options (hotels, restaurants, local warungs) were non existent and sadly as the food in our hotel was abysmal (even the Indonesian was done badly) we skipped eating meals which diminished the pleasure of the holiday.

Wayan and his wife Emma have created a little oasis filled with love. A sanctuary for the soul. They are very generous and share the Balinese traditions and way of life. I was close to just canceling the rest of my holiday plans to stay there. It is very restful and peaceful in a rural setting with the local rice fields just a few minutes walk away. Chickens, cats and dogs roaming around and the cows from the neighbor welcoming you with a muuu. Wayans complementary evening meditations which can be enjoyed by anyone are the cherry on top...
The Pramana Giri Kusama is a beautiful and unique hotel with a jungle / boutique feel.
The pool is set within the jungle area and is large enough for a relaxing swim amongst the trees and accompanying wildlife.
There is a good selection of food available from the menu and the food was delicious. Staff were very helpful and nothing was too much trouble.
This area of Ubud is a great spot for seeing the local sites.
Outstanding hotel in a beautiful remote regional location. The staff couldn't do enough for us. I got Bali belly the day before I arrived and the attention I got was fantastic. A bunch of flowers were delivered to me saying get better soon and to ask for anything. My daughter who is a fussy eater said the food was amazing
secluded and quiet

amazing for nature lovers and people that like a calm atmosphere
Balinese style of furniture and buildings were lovely to look at
facilities very clean and staff so friendly and helpful
