Beautiful little oasis in Sanur, close to amenities, beach and shops. The beds were the most comfortable we've had in Indonesia. We loved the balcony and the interior design. Staff were absolutely lovely, attentive but not intrusive.

Everything was top notch, A more private and classy place than some of the more flamboyant places nearby! Great thoughtful service. Breakfast on the beach. Our upper story room had a great view over the private pool to the sea.

Spacious rooms and suites. Big, comfortable pool. Good spa with excellent massage therapists. Tasty breakfasts with enough variety.
The location is quite decent — there are plenty of good restaurants and shops nearby, and it’s possible to walk to the beach.
I also want to highlight the reception staff. I made a mistake with my booking and chose the wrong dates. It happened around Silent Day, but despite the holiday, they responded quickly and helped me fix everything. Really appreciated their flexibility and support.
The only downside — the hotel feels slightly overpriced for what it offers.

Bali’s oldest beach resort retains its reputation as a glamorous alternative to nearby Kuta. The coastline of Sanur has a long stretch of white sand lined with restaurants and bars. It is tailor made for chic clientele or families wanting to relax in an exclusive resort or villa without the need to party into the wee hours.
Sanur is also a popular day trip destination for tourists staying in Kuta looking to do some water sports. There are many companies offering diving along its submerged outer reef, jet skiing on top of its blue waters or paragliding in the cool breezes above this ocean paradise.
The shoreline features a cycle path that is also perfect for walking and jogging. At its very northern tip is the ferry terminal that offers boat trips to Nusa Lembongan, a small island off the southeast coast of Bali that is famous for its laid-back atmosphere.
Sanur has its fair share of markets providing an impressive range of artistic handicrafts such as wood carvings and batik paintings. Best of these are the Sindhu Market and the daytime beachfront market.
Sanur is the closest beach to the island’s capital, Denpasar, with its many temples and museums. Booking.com has a range of hotels along Sanur Beach or close to Ngurah International Airport, also known as Denpasar International Airport.

I like Sanur because it is a little quieter than areas like Kuta, Legian and Seminyak.
It has good eating places and plenty of places to have a massage. It is also close to the beach.
My favourite eating place this trip was the Mona Lisa Cafe.
It is easy to walk everywhere in Sanur.

Sanur is a more peaceful resort than those on the west coast, making it popular with older tourists and those with small children, A wide range of hotel accommodation is on offer, the most popular of which are booked out well in advance of peak holiday periods. There are many shops selling all manner of locally-made goods, and many styles of food are available at restaurants on the seafront and the main street.

We always enjoy are time spent in Sanur.
We always enjoy are time spent in Sanur. After being in Legian, Kuta or Seminyak it is alway the restful part of our holiday. We enjoy the different places that you can eat at the beach from Warungs to the different types of beach dining. The beach was very popular as the locals were having ceremonies and others celebrating a few days of holidays, due to Nepyi and Ramadan finishing. We were lucky to see the Oorgh Oorgh parade which was very popular with 1000s of people lining the streets. The Oorgh Oorghs were so skillfully made by the younger Balinese people.

Absolutely love Sanur.
Absolutely love Sanur. Lots of shopping choices as well as a great selection of cafes, restaurants and warungs. Something to suit most tastes. The beach path is great with such a lovely walk along the beach with plenty of places to stop and refresh or have a swim. Sanur is quite compared to the likes of kuta, Legion and definitely much quieter than Canguu. Mostly more mature holiday makers and families. The locals seem to frequent the beaches on the weekends, evenings which is great to see.

The Mercure Resort Hotel is situated right on the beach, many restaurants to choose from alongside and only a short walk from the street of shops and more bars and restaurants.
The area is clean and hassle-free. The hotel was clean and well maintained, staff are extremely friendly and helpful. The resort has a smorgasbord breakfast option, we ate there a couple of times, not my choice of food, but it was plentiful and stocked constantly. I would definitely return here.

Sanur is family friendly, with stunning restaurants, casual restaurants, night market where you can enjoy local delish meals for $3.00, (amazing), a beautiful beach, with a stunning bike /walking path along the beach. Enough shops, and close to other places of interest. We visited with family of 9, aged from 10 to 70 and each of us loved Sanur.

We loved how quiet it was due to being situated at the South end of Sanur. The hotel is very traditional Balinese style with beautiful gardens and pool area. It feels like a little oasis when you step inside it. The room was very clean and we loved the outdoor bathroom. The staff were very friendly and welcoming. There is also a lovely little restaurant attached to the resort with authentic Vietnamese food at very reasonable prices.
Sanur is the most peaceful, stunning place and Tandjung Sari is definitely the jewel in the crown! Very unique Balinese bungalows with its own pool and private beachfront. The attention to detail is fabulous and the staff are dedicated to delivering an amazing level of hospitality and truly make the holiday! My husband had his birthday on our trip and the hotel made a wonderful celebration dinner for him! incredible!
Exceptional hotel.
Although I have been to Bali numerous times, I've never stayed in Sanur.
I hit the jackpot when I discovered this gem of a hotel.
The rooms are spotless and the staff are truly amazing. Very professional and very friendly and I can't wait to go back next year.
I’ve stayed a few places in Sanur & I liked this one the most. this is perfect if you don’t like big hotels with too many people.
staff were very friendly & food on the beach was delicious. They are also much more eco friendly than most places!
Located on the beach at Sanur. It’s an older hotel but it was clean, the staff were friendly and helpful, and the food was really tasty. The location was very handy.
