Our stay in Sidemen was simply magical. The property is stunning, surrounded by lush nature, with beautifully maintained accommodations. Everything exudes peace and beauty.
Getting there isn’t the easiest journey, but it’s absolutely worth it. The moment you arrive, you’re embraced by the serene atmosphere and breathtaking views.
What truly made this stay exceptional was the incredible hospitality. From the very first moment, we were warmly welcomed and felt completely at ease. The hostess spoiled us with her kindness. On top of running this beautiful place, she also takes care of her five lovely children, which is truly admirable.
Her husband is an amazing cook and treated us to delicious meals. Every dish was prepared with care and was an absolute delight to taste.
If you’re looking for a place to relax and experience the pure beauty of Bali, this is the perfect choice. We will definitely be back!
Surrounded by lush green rice fields and mountains, Sawah Indah Villa features an outdoor pool, restaurant and charming rooms with stunning views of the surrounding greenery.

I simply love Sidemen and the fact that you can still walk to places. The property is walking distance to lots of places (restaurants, rice fields, workshops). The family is lovely and very welcoming.
My daughter loved the pool :-)

Sidemen downtown is like any other small city on Bali, however when you left the main road towards the rice fields it gets better. There are the nice hotels and restaurants which a lot of nice views and the famous silver classes where you can make your own jewelry for 300K.

I found out about Sidemen upon TikTok recommendations, it did not disappoint. Nice quiet area ideal for couples, lots of lovely restaurants around. We visited Gembleng waterfall which was amazing and also Besakih Temple.
Also had traditional Balinese massage at Yuna Spa.

Sideman was nice and tranquil, would definitely recommend for someone looking for a more relaxing atmosphere than that at Ubud but would still like to experience the rice fields and beautiful mountainous scenery
Gorgeous mountains, lovely people, quiet environment amongst the rice fields, and many interesting things to discover, including a pagoda (long walk uphill, but definitely worth every step), waterfalls, and green lanes branching out from the main roads in the village.

It is a place for relaxation.
It is a place for relaxation. Very rural but ability to do rice field tours, silver making, trek to Mount Agur, walk to the beautiful waterfall etc. If you are into party life this is not the place for you.

Sawah Indah Villa in Sidemen is a beautiful and peaceful place for an immersive stay in nature. The hotel is surrounded by lush green rice fields and offers breathtaking panoramic views of the mountains. The rooms are tastefully decorated in an authentic Balinese style while providing modern comforts. The staff is extremely attentive and friendly, always ready to help with a smile. The on-site restaurant serves delicious local cuisine made with fresh ingredients. It’s an ideal spot to relax, recharge, and enjoy the serene beauty of Bali.
The view was so beautiful. Also liked shower outside. Breakfast was ok if you like american or continental breakfast although it was cold. We were there in the raining season and the room service without extra services was super. You can order even breakfast into your room☺️. you can also rent a scooter from the hotel. That is must have in Sidemen.
Beautiful resort in the heart of Sidemen. The view from the room is amazing, nature all around and a beautiful infinity pool overlooking the rice fields. The staff were extremely helpful and accomodating. Resort was quiet but the hotel is within short walking distance to lots of nice cafes and restaurants. Buffet breakfast was great.
The hotel is in a quiet place of Sidemen, yet in a central location as there are many warungs and shops nearby due to its proximity to other hotels so there are many options to eat aside from the hotel restaurant. The room was clean and comfortable. There is a nice pool but I did not use it. Breakfast was delicious.
