The Ship hotel is a unique experience. The stewards of the ship have managed quite well to maintain the feel of staying in a ship, even though it's berthed on land! A tour of the ship is a must!

This is my first time to stay with Angsana, but me and my friends stayed in Cassia Bintan a few times so I’ll use that experience as comparison. Angsana does not have the facilities of living room, dining and kitchen like in Cassia, so space and feel wise, Cassia has more homey and cool vibe while Angsana is a standard hotel room.
😞Our room was on the 1st floor, and there is a cricket that makes noises a few times at night.
😞my request for a late checkout was denied and have to wait 3.5hrs before my ferry schedule. Not that the hotel is obliged to grant my request but I’m really disappointed.

The staff were very friendly and helpful. Made the stay there enjoyable. Was also great that we can have more than 2 in a room!
It does get kind of humid inside the tent when the weather is hot, but I guess it can’t be help cause it’s weather!

The resort is a great option for a family getaway, especially for kids aged six and above who can fully enjoy the land and water activities like ATV rides, kayaking, and slides. That said, it's still a relaxing place for family time, with plenty to do within the resort itself.
One thing to note is that there’s only one restaurant on-site, so meals will mostly be from there. Fortunately, I really enjoyed their breakfast buffet, which had a wide variety of options!
We stayed there for 3D2N, thus not TOO bored with the food options on menu. however if you're staying for more than that might find the options are limited.
Staff are friendly and approachable.
