The lady at the desk was very lovely and as helpful as she could be. While I was there I overheard 2 separate groups demand refunds for services they booked that were not provided (one group booked poolside rooms but were given rooms where I was). My side of the accommodation was fine as I was allowed to use the pool at the other end of the place. There is only one pool - the other is out of commission. The room was cosy and clean and the beds comfortable. It was worth it for the price I paid. Things to be aware of: Online this place is called Bali Girl but there is no sign that says this at the accommodation which led to some confusion on my part and several others when checking in. Google Maps says it's a 1.7km walk to the accommodation. And it is....sort of. You will have quite a steep hill and a hiking track to get up and back that way. It is a lovely walk (I did it) and at low tide you can avoid the bush hike and just walk along the beach. For this though, I'd recommend not taking a suitcase. Backpack only. In fact, if I were to return to this island I would only take a backpack as having luggage meant I had to find accommodation that had a shuttle bus service (this is something that I required and something this accommodation offered...in theory). There is no shuttle, it is locals claiming to be taxis. Many of which refused to lower their prices below 250,000 rupiah. While I was able to barter down to a more reasonable price, several others just decided to walk as they had backpacks - I would have been with them if I had been able to. I was still charged more for the 15 minute ride down the mountain than I was for the 35 minute drive between Sanur and the airport. I cannot stress this enough: IF YOU GO TO THIS ISLAND HAVE BACKPACKS ONLY!! And be prepared to do a little walking. The walks are nice, you get to see more of the place and in the dense foliage you don't feel the heat as much.

Our experience at The Palms Penida was absolutely amazing! The staff went above and beyond, picking us up and helping arrange all our activities on the island—they truly made everything effortless. The property itself is peaceful, super clean, and surrounded by breathtaking landscapes. We loved every moment of our stay and can’t recommend it enough for anyone visiting Nusa Penida!

This is a beautiful little aesthetic safe haven in a nice location of Nusa Penida. The staff were so lovely, the room was exceptionally clean and as per the photos. The pool was perfect, shower was excellent, can’t complain about anything! Would LOVE to return here.
