The money payment left a bad taste so no I would not recommend this place and the mosquitoes were out of control Considering I was getting messages 2X’s a day saying Denghi fever is rife I would’ve thought they had some type of mosquito coils around the property but they just laughed. Lots of very nice healthy cafes . The beaches are lovely and we particularly loved Uluwatu Temple and the Kecak Dance . Lots of beautiful young people so I did feel very old ! Favourite places to eat were The Cashew Tree and Kelly’s Warung . Drifters is a beautiful store with a great cafe inside as well. Traffic is terrible but there are some great bars & restaurants. Loads to do and see. The ROCK BALI is stunning - a must-see. A little far from Ulu - 30mins by car. A lot of new construction sites throughout the area resulting in daily loud noise. Traffic congestion frustrating.
