Just a 16-minute walk from Ballyquin Beach and 0.9 miles from Curragh Bay Beach, Bubbles on the bay features accommodations in Waterford with a garden.

Our host Nonie was extremely helpful when we queried where we could eat given it was a mid week off season night. The accommodation was warm, welcoming and very comfy. We simply loved the added luxury of the hot tub especially after a cold swim in one of the local beaches.

We only spent one day in Ardmore itself as there is so much else to do close by..but Ardmore had a nice beach and playground and also has St Declans well which is nice to visit. We got food from the local shop and had a picnic on the beach so I can't comment on cafes/ restaurants. It had a little shop with a small selection of cheap toys which was just what the kids wanted so all good.

We had a one night stay…

We had a one night stay… There was a nice restaurant in the village that we will check out next time.. There were two ‘ tourist / craft’ shops with interesting items for sale.. There is a nice cliff walk… Ardmore is close to Waterford City & a lovely coastal drive.. Perfect for a short break… There was no entertainment in the hotel.. Nice local traditional pubs in the village.

Nice two bedroom holiday home with comfortable sitting room and good kitchen space. Pet friendly and our little dog loved the nearby beaches in Whiting Bay and Ardmore. Ardmore about 7km and Youghal 17km so within easy reach for shopping. Comfortable good sized bedrooms and bathroom with excellent shower. Towels are provided. Good tv with a huge selection of channels and free Wifi.

The location was perfect. There are 4 bedroom and we were 3 couples and 1 single. The view from each room of the sea was very special. It's beside the Cliff House Hotel where we had an amazing dinner one night.
