Loved Ballinasloe. Perfect little town.
Loved Ballinasloe. Perfect little town. My Mother's family lived nearby years ago and descendants still in area. For us perfect and lucky with the weather too. Gullanes hotel the very best to get the most of hospitality in the area and hear those amazing local people in town. Ballinasloe in itself is a small town, it took us an afternoon to walk around, visit the different shops, the marina and the three churches. It's very pleasant and the locals are friendly. On the Friday we left there was a indoor market by the cinema selling handmade items from buns to marmalade to baby gifts. Hotel Was very central to the town and shops.
Hotel Was very central to the town and shops. Not a lot do at night. We spent most of the next day in Galway Salthill and Barna, as the evening event I was meant to attend on the Sunday was cancelled. Restaurant in the hotel was very good and very accommodating too.Guest review byPaulaIreland

We arrived late 12.30am and we were offered some sandwiches to take up to our room which was a nice touch after traveling so late and missing dinner. After unpacking I noticed a hole in my jacket I called rececption asking if they had a needle and thread some one came to the room within minutes with some.
