Great warm reception in a lovely warm, clean house. Fiachra went above and beyond to look after us. Comfy beds, great shower, would highly recommend.

Real traditional Irish B&B. Not fancy to look at sure but such hospitality! Nothing too much trouble for the hosts who's love of hosting is infectious. Big Irish breaky of course. Warm cosy rooms. Minutes from clonmacnoise monastery, 20 min into shannonbridge for dinner and music and a pint.

The place is exactly as shown in the pictures—beautiful and inviting. The cabin is cozy and fully equipped for a comfortable experience. The host was incredibly kind and attentive, even surprising my wife with a birthday cake. Highly recommend!
Loved Ballinasloe. Perfect little town. My Mother's family lived nearby years ago and descendants still in area. For us perfect and lucky with the weather too. Gullanes hotel the very best to get the most of hospitality in the area and hear those amazing local people in town. It is also central.Would recommend to anyone looking for traditional Irish hospitality and welcome.

Ballinasloe in itself is a small town, it took us an afternoon to walk around, visit the different shops, the marina and the three churches. It's very pleasant and the locals are friendly. On the Friday we left there was a indoor market by the cinema selling handmade items from buns to marmalade to baby gifts. Ballinasloe is 30 mins from Athlone and 45 mins from Galway by train, handy spot!

Hotel Was very central to the town and shops.
Not a lot do at night. We spent most of the next day in Galway Salthill and Barna, as the evening event I was meant to attend on the Sunday was cancelled. Restaurant in the hotel was very good and very accommodating too.

Lovely, super likeable Irish couple, they make you feel like you are at home, they offered me sandwiches and tea just after arriving and I had a meeting next day a bit far so they went far far ahead of what was expected in a hotel to indicate me best way to get there.
breakfast was delicious and I highly recommend anyone to stay with them, they enjoy having clients with them, cant recommend enough my stay, i also owe them an email to enjoy Barcelona next November, my hometown :)
Absolutely brilliant! We arrived late 12.30am and we were offered some sandwiches to take up to our room which was a nice touch after traveling so late and missing dinner.
After unpacking I noticed a hole in my jacket I called rececption asking if they had a needle and thread some one came to the room within minutes with some. Couldn't fault this hotel!
