Our experience was faultless with Rianne and Jerry at the Stonehouse b&b. They were the most generous of hosts, who beyond what would be expected! Absolutely beautiful breakfasts and snacks left in our room. Nothing was too much trouble. A delightful time!! Xx

We loved meeting Fiona, the owner, and her dog Paddy and Paddy's good neighbour friend. We loved the remote cute area above the harbour where the Lookout was located. There was a very friendly pub within a 3 minute walk down a little hill which served food in the evening. The area was very scenic, with cliffs and waves crashing on the rugged shoreline. There were a number of walking trails nearby, which Fiona described in a booklet in the room.
Boasting inner courtyard views, Boatman's Quarters offers accommodation with a garden and a patio, around 6.8 km from St Patrick's Cathedral, Skibbereen.

Self catering - breakfast cereals, milk, tea, coffee all available. All as described, very good.
Lovely quiet location, suited our requirements perfectly - lots of places to walk and cycle and close to Skibbereen Town for places to eat, etc. A great place to sit and relax.
Hosts Christene & Ken & family were very friendly, welcoming and very helpful in pointing out things to see and places to go. Homemade scones were a lovely touch.
Very friendly cat on site (Pussers) - nice company around the place.
Many thanks, we will be back.

Such a cute little chalet with all the modern facilities I was very comfortable and it is set in a very scenic and peaceful location. The hosts are so obliging and I had a fantastic experience all the way through. There is so much to see around the area too.
This stunning, 163 acre estate includes beautiful gardens, a 40-acre lake, and the fantastic Sky Garden crater. Fresh home cooking is provided, and guests can enjoy canoeing on the lake.

The setting of the hotel was amazing, very quiet, secluded and peaceful. The hotel felt private and boutique style.
Superb atmosphere in pubs and eateries. A beautiful place with lots to see and do within an hour's drive, A visit by ferry to Cape Clear is essential ! One of the best places in Ireland (or anywhere) to spend 3 or 4 nights.

Baltimore harbour was beautiful and wild during the storm when we arrived. The next day all was calm and sunny, so we enjoyed the village and it's very nice restaurants.
The vegetarian pizza + fresh fish and chips in Jacobs was delicious.
So was the burgers in the Algier Inn.
There is even a 2 Michelin Star restaurant if you are foodie
We hope to come back during the summer to go whale watching and explore Cape Clear.

We stayed one night basically to stay at a place away from a city and nearer the sea. Quaint town, but did not have time for excursions…ate dinner at a nice restaurant out of town a short way from Rathmore House recommended by the house owner, called An Siben.

Wonderful view of the bay and islands.
Wonderful view of the bay and islands. Boat trip to Sherkin Is. and Cape Clear highly recommended. Please pick up rubbish and loose string as it can damage seagulls.
It is easy to get around except when the town is full!

We had a wonderful time at the Stone House. Rianne was extremely helpful and accommodating for everything we needed. Can’t say enough about her hospitality.
The room was spacious and has a nice balcony. There is a crazy selection or teas and coffees if you have time to try them. Highly recommend this place for anyone visiting Baltimore - which you should do!
