Baltimore harbour was beautiful and wild during the storm...
Baltimore harbour was beautiful and wild during the storm when we arrived. The next day all was calm and sunny, so we enjoyed the village and it's very nice restaurants. The vegetarian pizza + fresh fish and chips in Jacobs was delicious. So was the burgers in the Algier Inn. We stayed one night basically to stay at a place away from a city and nearer the sea. Loved Baltimore ... Fabulous place ...took the ferry over to Sherkin Island both days for the beaches ...Bushes pub great for coffee and drinks and a lovely cup of tea after the sea .. Wonderful view of the bay and islands. Boat trip to Sherkin Is. and Cape Clear highly recommended. Please pick up rubbish and loose string as it can damage seagulls. It is easy to get around except when the town is full!Guest review byDonoughIreland
