Bar beside chalet had an amazing atmosphere good singing session, friendly people, owners and staff were great hosts and we felt really welcome.

We were told at our check in that there would be a baby and two parents in the room next to us so that if we were heading out and in late to try our best to be quite, which we did.. home by 10ish and stayed quite. Shortly after a couple who stayed in the room at the other side of us came in and were quite loud but quietened down shortly after. 2am came and some guests that were in another room close by came in roaring laughing, talking loud not even attempting to be quite we could hear one of them vomiting. An hour or so later they quietened. Walls are paper thin and you can hear EVERYTHING! We heard no baby wake during all this noise even though the baby was apparently in the room next to us. Disappointing stay. There were items missing from our breakfast also. Not sure I would stay here again. The staff were nice but never asked how our stay was.

The location was perfect only a ten minute walk into kilkee town centre and sea front.

What can I say about our host Nuala, she welcome us into home which was beautiful, clean and warm. The room and ensuite were very clean and a lovely size. Breafast was wonderful even though it was continental there was a lot of choices and her brown bread was to died for. What we both really like was the fact that there was no TV in the room which is a rarity in today world and also no tea or coffee maker in room, you only had to go to dining room any time of the day to make it and have some home baked buns. While we were there Nuala was very helpful in giving information on where to go and the best way of getting there without being intrusive. We totally enjoy our two nights there and we would recommend it to anyone looking for a warm, welcoming, home from home comfort. Michael and I hope to returned to this b&b in the not to distant future and wish Nuala every success with her b&b.

Welcoming B and B at the edge of town. Breakfast was delicious. Immaculately clean and comfortable room but we are used to a larger bed than a regular double. However, the mattress was comfortable.
