Location near the bus stop was great! It was also very walkable to the city center. Most of the staff - at the front desk and in the dining room were good; the main exception was the woman at the front desk when we checked in. The woman at the front desk in the morning/during the day was especially helpful with answering questions and providing information. The room was quiet.

The thatched roof and stone cottage is what drew us to this location. It's a small town and quiet. The cottage was right next to a small pub that we took advantage of one night. Joan is very friendly and we enjoyed talking with her. Lots of hot water for the shower. Breakfast was plentiful and delicious.

Good location to pubs on the main street and the restaurant for dinner and breakfast in the morning was all great. Rooms, while a bit dated, were clean and the room rates were very reasonable. All of the staff we interacted with during our stay were incredibly friendly and helpful.
