Beautiful home in a picturesque setting! The home, including our room, was very clean and well kept. There was a lovely river in front of the home, which had rocks to use to cross the water and get to a trail that leads to the town. We enjoyed a very peaceful walk to town where we dined for lunch. Then we continued to walk around, including a wooden trail that lead to Glendalough Upper Lake. Many people were out enjoying the beautiful sunny day we had. We roamed the grounds for a little bit before we finally made our way back to the cottage. While at the home, we were able to enjoy a lovely fire the hosts made in the common area. If you are looking for true relaxation and tranquility, this is the place!

Proximity to the sites (the Christian complex plus the park) was excellent. The room was large and clean. The hostess was welcoming and helpful.
Not an hotel, but rooms plus access to a shared kitchen. No breakfast offered, but the restaurant was very close and excellent with long hours even off season.

Absolutely one of the best places we have ever stayed. Exceptional place to hide away in Wicklow. Unmatched view from private balcony. Greeted by warm staff and great traditional Irish breakfast in a sunroom. Perfect weekend getaway.

This property is absolutely gorgeous and just a short walk to the pub down the street. The thought that the host put into the walking paths, lights, fencing, shower facilities, communal kitchen, everything was spectacular. We only wish that we could have stayed longer! Don't miss out on this place.

If you are walking the Wicklow Way this is the premiere hosted hostel along the way. We were super impressed with the owners and their staff. I'm not sure of all the European walkers spots I've been if I've ever seen a more accommodating crew like we found at Lus Mor! You are in good hands here, and with a fabulous night's rest, ready to tackle the next phase of the path!

Helpful hosts.
Clean, modern and mostly comfortable.
The full kitchen was a key criteria for this booking; as we had been staying in hotels for much of the previous week.
Lots of pleasing breakfast items supplied by the host; so best to not attempt to even partially self cater for breakfast; until after you arrive. There is then a small shop in the village if you do need more items.
The lat + long for this stay is: 53.06186 and -6.22640. Much easier to thus find as no street number seems to exist and using Eircode is not always simple for foreigners.
The surrounding area was just pure nature - from the river...
The surrounding area was just pure nature - from the river in front of the house, to the mountains on either side, to the forest, to the old mines and finally to the stepping stones across the river to the 15 minute walk way to Glendalough.
