Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see. The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. The last time I stayed in Bunbeg was 12 years ago and it has become very run down with quite a few places closed but this would also be impacted by the restrictions etc due to Covid. It's fine if you want to get away from it all.Guest review byCaroline - Review score10.0

We loved everything about Bunbeg, lovely coastal area with a fabulous stunning large beach. Where Bad Eddie's boat wreck is a must to see. We dined at Sean Og bar and restaurant - fabulous food. You can visit Gola Island, Cruit Island is nearby too. Walking will give you plenty of beautiful scenery. Just loved it.Guest review byPATRICKIreland
