Nice hotel in a very nice location but the bedroom was quite small with just one bedside locker.
The hotel had nice facilities as in a swimming pool and a gym but I had no chance to use them.

Although only there for a short while Bunbeg has all the ingredients of the mystic west. The sunset was spectacular over the beach. Bád Eddie (Eddies boat) on Bunbeg's Magheraclogher beach, in Gaoth Dobhair (Gweedore) is a must see.
The official story is that the boat was stranded on the beach but we heard from a good source that Eddie did it deliberately. He beached the boat in order to fit a new engine but he was going through a divorce and his wife asked for her share of the boat so he never repaired it.

The last time I stayed in Bunbeg was 12 years ago and it has become very run down with quite a few places closed but this would also be impacted by the restrictions etc due to Covid. It's fine if you want to get away from it all.

We loved everything about Bunbeg, lovely coastal area with a fabulous stunning large beach. Where Bad Eddie's boat wreck is a must to see.
We dined at Sean Og bar and restaurant - fabulous food.
You can visit Gola Island, Cruit Island is nearby too.
Walking will give you plenty of beautiful scenery.
Just loved it.

Had a great stay in Donegal. Beautiful two-bed apartment in close proximity to all major attractions in the Gweedore area.
We had a lovely view of Mt Errigal from the living room window. Go raibh maith agaibh Angela and Donal!
Excellent accommodation, friendly, welcoming and a real sense of Irish hospitality. Staff were so professional and attentive. Dog friendly, which was a bonus. Highly recommend.
Location was amazing. Unreal views of the coast.
Local area had everything you need for short stay restaurant, pubs and shops.
Lodge was up to a great standard.
