The property was lovely, I spent time reading in a comfortable chair in front of a beautiful fireplace, Joe served me tea and I felt very special.

We loved the hospitality that Dierdra showed. The property is beautiful and close to Shannon which was so nice after a long day of traveling. The room was nice and private and the breakfast was delicious. Dierdra gave some great food recommendations. Highly recommend this place!

Everything about Lorraine’s place was magical, it was like stepping into a fairytale! The house was GORGEOUS, the furniture breathtaking, the room was spacious, Lorraine was the sweetest and even though we had to leave much earlier than breakfast is served, she set out the most beautiful spread of a continental breakfast and even walked us out and chatted with us about the horses.
Just a 10-minute walk or a one minute drive from Bunratty Castle and Folk Park, Parkhouse B&B is in beautiful landscaped grounds.

Host was very accommodating. Breakfast offered was good, but we had to leave early, so the host made a breakfast to go for us. The rooms and bathrooms were nice and very clean.

I have visited Bunratty Castle and Folk park several times over the years. It's a great day out four adults and children, and gives a great insight into how our ancestors lived. Plenty to see and do for children and adults.
very reasonably priced.

Bunratty is a beautiful village with lots of character, we really enjoyed the shop at the castle and we enjoyed durty nellies where we had our dinner and drinks and the creamery where we also had drinks while we sat outside listening to the music and we had a lovely stroll around the village and down the street to the castle shop

Directions to the B and B were a bit vague, the township (and the Buttery/Pub) were very nice, did a tour of the Castle next morning, very nicely done. The B and B was comfortable and clean, and a great breakfast was appreciated. We had dinner at the Buttery and that was also very nice. People there friendly and helpful, they also had an Irish band playing which was a bonus

We spent the night there, as we were planning to partake in the medieval feast event. Unfortunately due to unforeseen circumstances I lost my booking there so we were invited to have our feast in Kippogue Castle, a mere 20 minute ride away, which proved to be perfect.
so we actually did not spend time there, yet rather in Kippogue Castle. Always a good idea for a visit.

Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer.
Bunratty is a small village but has a lot to offer. Visiting the castle and folk park takes at least half a day and is well worth it. We also went to the medevial banquet in the castle - this is also worth the money, we enjoyed it a lot. Apart from the castle there are also several pubs in Bunratty, of which The Creamery and Durty Nellie's are my favourite. And if you'd like to shop for souvenirs, Blarney Woollen Mills Bunratty is a perfect place.

We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet.
We came to Bunratty to attend the Medieval Banquet. This is well worth a visit. The food was great! I really enjoyed the Mead welcome drinks too! The staff who were serving our food were also the entertainment. The singing was absolutely fantastic! I sing in a Welsh choir, I was seriously impressed! They instrumentalists were also exceptional. The host was also very funny, so it was a great night!
The castle is a fantastic attraction to visit and spend time with family and learn all about the medieval past.
After the banquet we went into the village and visited the local pubs. What an exceptional warm welcome we received. Both pubs had musicians playing and singing! What a place to visit for a bit of authentic Irish entertainment.

Location is great. Short walk to Bunratty castle, folk park, restaurants and bars. Most have live music.
It is very well situated. We were able to access Bunratty Castle and the different restaurants around by foot.
Also we really liked that the estate was free of cars, it was very safe for our children.
The facilities, the breakfast, and the views. The guests are extremely kind and thoughtful 😊. It is very near to the Bunratty castle. Great experience.
