This was a lovely place. Jess the owner was very welcoming and helpful. It had been a hostel in a previous life but now all rooms are individual bookings. We stayed in the double room with an ensuite. We liked the self-catering shared kitchen facilities and the breakfast items. There is a nice outdoor courtyard area for when the weather is good, The place in general was lovely, quiet and easy-going.

This is a lovely Bed and Breakfast on the docks in Castletownbere. The staff were extremely helpful and the breakfast was great. There is plenty of parking next to the accommodation.

My friend and I stayed one night at Cottage B&B and had a wonderful experience. The location was excellent, with a stunning view of the sea right from our room. The setting was truly beautiful.
The staff were absolutely lovely, and the accommodation was warm, comfortable, and inviting. Breakfast was delicious, and we especially enjoyed the view from the dining table while we ate. Everything felt thoughtfully arranged to make guests feel at home.
There was absolutely nothing we didn’t like—we truly enjoyed every part of our stay. We will definitely consider staying here again. Highly recommended!

It was a beautiful cosy apartment, everything you could need was provided. Lovely tea/coffee station with chocolate snacks provided and milk in the fridge. The bed was so comfortable and cozy. The bathroom was warm and so clean, they even had shower gel and plenty of towels. The owners checked both days if we needed anything, they are the staff were so friendly. The food and wine in O’Carrolls restaurant was excellent and Maisie Ryan’s bar was welcoming and cosy. Loved everything about our 2night stay even though it rained it was still amazing to wake up beside the sea 😍

Silence, natural beauty, if you want to really get away and enjoy simplicity and nature, this is the place for you. Have to travel a few kilometres for restaurants and bars but this is a good thing, because it means you will rarely meet many cars or people.
