Felt at home from the moment we got there, including the doggo :) she was welcome everywhere except the dining room which makes sense. But we got a beautiful set up in one of the nearby sitting rooms. Really nice views, kind staff, lovely cocktails. The bar area was my favourite with a big open fire :) We were unaware the Clifden Arts Festival was on, so the room was really good value for money and the hotel provided taxi numbers if we needed them. They really thought of all the little things.

Michael & Antonia were wonderful hosts from the first moment we got there. The room was great and comfortable and breakfast was delicious. One of our highlight moments while staying at the farm was the wonderful conversation we had at breakfast with Michael & Antonia. We could have stayed all day chatting with them. Clifden was a lovely little town and with a recommendations from Antonia, we had an incredible dinner & fun night out at the pub. We will definitely be back.

Even though it was the end of September, wet and cold ,the town was a hive of activity. Plenty of restaurants, a good bakery/coffee shop., a wide range of independent shops (some long established and seemingly thriving). It was also Art festival week too, which was an added attraction. There is plenty of on street parking, but it is metered. but not expensive. Overnight is free.

My visit coincided with Clifden arts week, with a huge range of events, concerts and exhibitions. The weather was very good, so I went sight-seeing and the scenery is amazing. I used an e-bike and cycled to Roundstone and back via the bog road. We ate at Marconi Inn on Main St, great food, and had coffee and cake at Walsh’s. On my bike trip I had a very tasty lunch at Sweet Nothings in Ballyconneely.

My dad was born close to Clifden & every summer as children we visited this area. I still find areas to go to that I haven't been to before. For example Omey Island.
I still enjoy visiting it as an adult. Great scenery, beaches. Additionally I can now enjoy all the bars & restaurants.

The traffic situation in Clifden was chaotic with cars parked everywhere blocking the traffic. It could be a lovely tourist town but it is totally undeveloped. It has huge potential but sadly it needs a development committee with full powers to shake the people up! Look at the huge success of Westport!

Very friendly staff, comfortable, great location with lots to do in the vicinity... Dogs bay, Kylemore Abbey to name two. Weather wasn't great but can't blame the hotel for that :), and it didn't detract from our time in Clifden. The beds could have been better... We were in a double with single room; the single bed was small (not a camp bed) and very noisy when it sin turned over and the double was small and bouncy... But we still slept.
The hotel is far superior than what we were expecting. I booked it for my partners birthday as he had never been to Clifden but always wanted to go as I have been quite a number of times. To say we both were delighted with the hotel would be an understatement. The view from the room was beautiful. The staff were so friendly and helpful and the breakfast was delicious. We cant wait to go back again!!
The location was only a few minutes walk from the town of Clifden.
The apartment was spotless, two large bedrooms and one was en suite, main bathroom and kitchen come living room. All linen and cutlery supplied. Tv in each room. Excellent accomodation
Beautiful hotel with lovely friendly staff - who were all so efficient and helpful during our stay. We had a celebration meal in the Marconi restaurant and the food and service was excellent. I would highly recommend Foyles Hotel
