Curracloe – 3 hotels and places to stay

Set in Curracloe, 2.4 km from Curracloe Beach, Hotel Curracloe offers accommodation with a garden, free private parking, a terrace and a restaurant.

Beautiful Hotel on arrival was given the key to the wrong bedroom. Enter the bedroom with people already in the room had to go back to reception. This took over an hour was given a beautiful room 114 because of the mistake with room 108 . Our new room was lovely and clean but was cold. There was no heating in it for the first night we stayed the breakfast next morning was beautiful, then on Sunday morning around 12 o’clock someone from staff kept knocking on the door next to us and shouting we tried to ignore but it continues and continues that evening. We had a beautiful meal in the restaurant and the staff were pleasant and couldn’t do enough and the room was beautiful and warm Sunday night Monday morning waking up the room was also warm. The radiators were hot and we went for a beautiful breakfast served by beautiful staff and very helpful when I was checking out I was met by one of the staff to be told that I had to pay for the breakfast which I did ,but in the back of my mind from when I was booking the room, my understanding was the breakfast was with the deal since then I’ve been looking up to see is this true or untrue but I cannot figure it out I’m selling this story because it is what it is overall I am happy we stayed there we will stay there again but it would be unfair of me not to mention the things that happened but I wanted. I want to be clear that this would not put me off from staying there. fantastic location fantastic facility and the meal and hospitality was very good. Yes there was a mixup with the room which was embarrassing. There was a lot going on in the lobby when we arrived. This might have added to the confusion. Many thanks

Set in Curracloe and only 10 km from Wexford Railway Station, The Curracloe getaway offers accommodation with garden views, free WiFi and free private parking.

This place is large and very comfortable, everything you would need, including coffee machine, air fryer, constant hot water to do dishes, tea coffee sugar logs for the fire and the host left a bottle of wine for us to enjoy. Very near the breathtaking curracloe beach, a few minutes drive away, there is also a wild bird sanctuary within a short walk. The host is a very kind and nice woman, extremely helpful, responded very quickly to any questions we had, I have to say she is an exceptionally good person and her children are a credit to her. I would stay there again, no problem, she even had an electric blanket for my bed, very thoughtful of her, the area is quite, real irish countryside, a little hidden gem a short drive from wexford town, would love to stay in the summer time but saying that we had some beautiful sunny days, I guess we were lucky as it was February.

Overlooking the stunning River Slaney Estuary, the Ferrycarrig Hotel is 3 miles from Wexford and offers rooms with scenic river views.

The highlight? Without a doubt, the seafood chowder — hands down the best on the Emerald Isle. Rich, flavorful, and clearly made with care, it’s worth the visit on its own.

With magnificent views of The River Slaney, The Riverbank Hotel features an elegant restaurant and popular bar. There is free parking and free Wi-Fi, just minutes from the sandy beaches of Wexford.

Great location, great food, great room! The windows and public areas could do with good deep clean, otherwise we were delighted with the Riverbank. Highly recommend the bar food.

Toilets blocked off on main floor had to use toilets in the Indian restaurant which was up 2 flight of stairs . No consideration for the older person very inconvenient Ordered dinner and the courgettes were burnt the rest of the dinner was warm looked like the veg was free got that much of them and they were hard ,and my friend asked for extra gravy on her dinner and was charged 2 euro. Stayed here previously and had no complaints very disappointing this time

Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar.

Great, friendly, staff. Great Cráic at the bar. N8ce music at bar. Lovely atmosphere throughout facility. One blip was, a wet towel left by previous guests was still hanging on hook behind bathroom door. Cleaning staff need to check the hooks behind doors when cleaning bathroom area. Didn't upset me really. The overall stay was top class and I will be returning.

    Breakfast was very good.

Breakfast was very good. Beds are too small in length and width. I'm 5'8", I would definitely have been more uncomfortable if I was any taller. Evening food didn't look very appetising. All in all its a very clean hotel and I enjoyed my stay. I would go back again.

From the moment Val opened the door to us until the moment we left, this house was a pure joy to stay in. Val is a gem, full of information and advice. Her house is absolutely spotlessly clean and the bed was very comfortable. The breakfast was plentiful and delicious. Location second to none right next door to hotel with good food and drink. Will 100% stay here next time we're in the area and would definitely recommend Robin Hill Bed & Breakfast.

Curracloe Beach House was in a great location, a few minutes walk to a fabulous beach. The house itself was so comfortable and had everything we needed in it and more. We brought our 2 dogs with us and the back garden was safe and secure to let them out. We will definitely be back
