Hotel is lovely and in superb location. Reception and house keeping all good, room spacious and clean. Only issue, disgusting mark on carpet.
Dungeon staff not trained in 4* service. Had to keep asking, for stuff, side salad never turned up at all, steak was small, fatty and tough. Staff never came near us to see if everything was OK. Complained and bill reduced, fed back to duty manager but just got a thanks and no apology.
Library bar staff also pathetic along with bar management.
Asked for a margarita. Absolutely disgusting and sent back. No salt or lime and tasted like ****. .sent back, another made but salt was lumpy and fell off glass. Witnessed barman or so called cocktail maker place old drink back in shaker and serve to someone else. Bar manager was gormless, delivered dri k by hand, not on a tray, no glass napkin and no apology.
Decided that they do not deserve my money and spent elsewhere in town for much better food and service.
Even locals we met, said they would not eat in hotel.
Appalling service and food for a 4* hotel.

We had an outstanding experience at this place. Everything was top-notch, from the warm and professional staff to the beautifully maintained facilities. Our room was not only comfortable and clean but also thoughtfully equipped to meet our needs. We particularly appreciated great location and the shower room. The attention to detail and commitment to guest satisfaction were truly remarkable. Highly recommend this hotel to anyone seeking a memorable stay !

Lovely area, with plenty of historical places to visit should you like to. Have quite a few good pubs and other eating establishments; the Queens was great! Not a great amount of local shops, which is something that we look for when we visit a downtown.

Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route.
Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route. The Coliemore rooms are super accessible right behind the lovely pub. Be sure to visit the Sorrento Park and Dalkey Island using the local ferry. Also the Dalkey Hill provides great views of the area and Dublin. Be sure to note that the train does take 25 minutes or so to get into Dublin, so you need to plan for that if you're going into the city.

Beautiful and quaint historic town with a superb heritage centre ideal for a family visit. Highly entertaining tour with actors in costume and lots of interaction. Surrounding areas picturesque. Great cafes and independent shops on the high street. Really convenient for popping into Dublin on the Dart. Easy to access from the motorway too.

Not easy to drive around Dalkey..
Not easy to drive around Dalkey..Must have been a nice area long ago before traffic and construction clogged it up..The facade of the village buildings is nice and well maintained.
Malahide and Howth would be a far better option for a city break.

What a lovely little place.
What a lovely little place. The main street (Castle Street) is an absolute joy, boutique little restaurants and cafes alongside niche shops. I was there on business but will absolutely be coming back as a tourist.

What a lovely stay at this exceptional hotel - so comfortable and great amenities. The staff were great too, especially Alan the concierge who was so helpful. A nice location, a few minutes walk from Dalkey Village. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. A good range of bathroom products which I really appreciated.
The setting was fantastic, the staff are exceptional in all departments, and the food was excellent, rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. A gem of a hotel in a beautiful part of Dublin.
Very well equipped apartment in the heart of Dalkey. It had everything and more than we expected with an amazing breakfast pack. The lovely two bathrooms was a nice surprise!
