Such a charming town and the colimore was the cherry on the top! A clean space with a comfy bed right in the center of town. The staff was wonderful and incredibly accommodating.

This place is a real gem! i had wanted to stay somewhere near the Forty Foot and this cute hotel popped up. It's in an old building that has been renovated and has so much character. The staff is so lovely. They have a cute passport that they will stamp as you visit all the baths in the area. We got 2 stamps! They also have bikes you can use and free towels to warm yourself up after a dip in the Irish Sea!
Rochestown Lodge Hotel and Leisure center is a 3-star hotel located in Dun Laoghaire, just a short distance from Dublin City Center and has easy access to the M50 motorway.

they let me check in early for no extra cost - that is so important when arriving from the US! Also, they were extremely friendly and helpful in finding a variety of places I was visiting. Finally, they had room service, which was very nice after several long days of work.

Lovely area, with plenty of historical places to visit should you like to. Have quite a few good pubs and other eating establishments; the Queens was great! Not a great amount of local shops, which is something that we look for when we visit a downtown.

Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route.
Dalkey is a charming little town right on the train route. The Coliemore rooms are super accessible right behind the lovely pub. Be sure to visit the Sorrento Park and Dalkey Island using the local ferry. Also the Dalkey Hill provides great views of the area and Dublin. Be sure to note that the train does take 25 minutes or so to get into Dublin, so you need to plan for that if you're going into the city.

Beautiful and quaint historic town with a superb heritage centre ideal for a family visit. Highly entertaining tour with actors in costume and lots of interaction. Surrounding areas picturesque. Great cafes and independent shops on the high street. Really convenient for popping into Dublin on the Dart. Easy to access from the motorway too.

Not easy to drive around Dalkey..
Not easy to drive around Dalkey..Must have been a nice area long ago before traffic and construction clogged it up..The facade of the village buildings is nice and well maintained.
Malahide and Howth would be a far better option for a city break.

What a lovely little place.
What a lovely little place. The main street (Castle Street) is an absolute joy, boutique little restaurants and cafes alongside niche shops. I was there on business but will absolutely be coming back as a tourist.

What a lovely stay at this exceptional hotel - so comfortable and great amenities. The staff were great too, especially Alan the concierge who was so helpful. A nice location, a few minutes walk from Dalkey Village. The room was large and the bed very comfortable. A good range of bathroom products which I really appreciated.
The setting was fantastic, the staff are exceptional in all departments, and the food was excellent, rooms very spacious and spotlessly clean. A gem of a hotel in a beautiful part of Dublin.
Very well equipped apartment in the heart of Dalkey. It had everything and more than we expected with an amazing breakfast pack. The lovely two bathrooms was a nice surprise!
