With a swimming pool, gym, and Essence Spa, the modern Clayton Hotel & Leisure Club Sligo is 5 minutes’ drive from Sligo’s center. Guests can enjoy free WiFi throughout the property.

The hotel room was nice and clean but window lock was not secure. The leisure centre has all the facilities and towels given once you signed in. The food itself was of a good quality especially the breakfast- it was a buffet style and you could have as much as you wanted.

Boasting a 16-yard indoor pool, tennis courts, and rooms with floor-to-ceiling windows, this 4-star hotel is just 3 minutes’ drive from Sligo center.

It’s a very clean hotel and I had a nice spacious king room. It’s a big place, so not exuding charm, but it’s a practical stop coming down from Donegal. There are some beautiful spots around Benbulbin worth exploring. I would recommend this place because the facilities are well maintained and the bar/restaurant on site are decent. The trad music in the bar was a nice touch.

Ideally located in the city center of Sligo, The Address Sligo is next to O'Connell Street, which offers extensive shopping, riverside restaurants, and cozy bars.

Really nice hotel in the middle of town. Bed was comfortable. Nice sized entry room. View out to the river was lovely. The breakfast was typical hotel breakfast, was nice. No complaints, would be back again

Accommodation was excellent, local recommended restaurants were convenient and satisfactory. We aren’t young but enjoyed cycling in the local area. We couldn’t find Lissadel but enjoyed Glencar Waterfall after cycling to Manorhamilton and back. Earlier we cycled around Lough Gill.

Drumcliffe has a great location near Ben Bulben and within easy reach of beautiful beaches at Mullaghmore and Streedagh and Sligo Town. It is important because of its association with the poet W B Yeats who is buried beside the church where his ancestor was once rector. The Yeats Tavern is an excellent restaurant just minutes away. Glencar Lake is only a short drive away and the surrounding countryside is peaceful and beautiful.

Wonderful interesting historical area to explore.

Wonderful interesting historical area to explore. There’s Yeats grave/ Church, craft shops, coffee shops and Yeats Tavern where the food is really good.Others local villages only a short drive, Lang’s in Grange serves beautiful food. Rosses point beach never disappoints, is about 10 minutes drive away. Sligo town is also very handy, river runs though the centre with some lovely coffee shops near the bridge. Several car parks but I find the cathedral car park particularly easy, 3 Euros for a stay and you can scan your card to exit

Lovely scenery especially the Glencar Waterfall and the fabulous location and friendly welcome at Benbulben Farm B&B. All the people we met were friendly and helpful. Lissadel House is currently closed. Check before you intend to visit but it can be seen from the beautiful white sandy beach.

Excellent B&B. Warm hospitality from Marita and Ian. En suite room modern and clean, very private and quiet. Selection of tasty breakfasts. On elevated site. Stunning up close views from dining room of Benbulben and beautiful panoramic view of coast line. Haven’t stayed in B&B in a few years but wouldn’t hesitate to go back. Very competitively priced compared with local hotels but with personal touch. Only a few minutes drive to main road N15.
