I would have preferred a separate restaurant and bar, they have no restaurant, the bar is also a bistro until 9pm, you can also have drinks in the foyer which they call the ‘lounge’ but it’s cold with no atmosphere

Situated in the historic town of Dungarvan, in the South East of Ireland, Lawlors Hotel is a traditional family-run hotel, with comfortable, spacious rooms.

The location is great and near the bus but the breakfast was awful (fruit salad tasted gone off and fry was soggy) and the facilities could benefit from a deep clean.

Dún Ard in Dungarvan provides adults-only accommodation with water sports facilities and a shared lounge. The 5-star bed and breakfast has garden views and is 28 km from Tynte's Castle. St.

Joe(the host) was very welcoming from the doorstep of the accommodation. The interior design, quality of everything starting from the hospitality, royal breakfast (I highly recommend Anne's omelette for breakfast), fresh and clean linen, room that is very spacious. Every minute detail of the place is laid out including dinnerware, towels arrangement. Joes tips on what to visit on the way home or near the area were very helpful. These are only some of the positives about the place but there is not enough space and also the words to present how amazing the place is.

This was so much better than staying 20 min up the road in Waterford. Lovely little village with a harbour and beautiful driving around this area. We came through Kilkenny, Waterford and the tiny picturesque old village of Inistioge. Inistioge was a gem, beautiful little coffee and photo stop on the way. Dungarvan had loads of good restaurants and cute pubs, however, in March things were shutting for a meal early, around 7.30pm. Go out early for dinner, or you will end up with takeaway. There are a few of these options. Good provision shopping here also with an Aldi and shopping centre.

Plenty of restaurants, bars, shops. In driving distance of many fabulous beaches and the Waterford Greenway. We went to Youghal and Waterford city, both steeped in history. Everret's restaurant in Waterford and the Indian Ocean in Dungarvan were top restaurants, highly recommend both.

Dungarvan is a family friendly place. The town is thriving and has a good variety of shops and restaurants. There is plenty of parking. Best of all is the stunning scenery, walking trails, and beaches.

Dungarvan is a great town with nice people.

Dungarvan is a great town with nice people. There are newer built shopping facilities in the town that are not really that great compared to the feeling of the main square and its surrounding boutique type shops and bars. Took the train from Dublin Heuston station to Waterford direct (2 hrs 15 mins) and used local X55 coach from Waterford town Bus station (5 mins walk over the bridge) and onto Dungarvan (50 Mins), made the journey really easy.

Lovely hotel all around - couldn't fault the location, staff or food. Extremely central to all the amenities Dungarvan has to offer. The staff were very friendly, so helpful and accommodating which makes all the difference when travelling with a little one. The food was superb - from the 3 course dinner right through to the breakfast - great value for money. Everything was perfect. Will be back again in future!

No. 12 B&B is an absolute gem. Super comfortable, clean, warm, very stylish, and wonderful attention to detail. And the breakfast.....it's the very best you will get. Catherine, the owner, is very welcoming and kind, who clearly prides herself in her small business. What more is there to ask! I would go back to Dungarvan just to be able to stay here again.

The apartment location is central to everything. Bedrooms very comfortable and the living area, upstairs, is spacious, bright, cosy and over looks Dungarvan Quay. A real treat. An added bonus was the use of the two bikes.

Excellent location, only a very short very pleasant walk to the heart of Dungarvan, the host is very friendly and accommodating. The breakfast is very good with some of the best mushrooms I’ve ever had! ;-)
