Location is a bit polluted, frankly. The breakfast, on the other hand, was a work of the gods ;)

Room was very clean and spacious. Very good coffee/tea/water choices in room. Breakfast was scrumptious. Nothing to complain about
Its a lovely intimate town with good shops, cafes, and pubs.
Its a lovely intimate town with good shops, cafes, and pubs. The marine museum was really interesting, well worth the visit. The sea frot is also lovely, a bit on the wild side but thats a plus for me.

Beautiful main street.
Beautiful main street. The harbour at night was spectacular . Coffee shops didn't seem to be open down at the front. Parking a problem for me because of my not being able to walk very far. Will visit again p.g.

Dun Laoghaire is a beautiful clean well maintained harbour village with a lovely long pier to walk and a very nice park (the Peoples Park) that holds a market every weekend selling food and crafts. There are plenty of shops bars and restaurants to choose from and it is a safe area too.

Dun Laoghaire is a nice town with many little shops and also a small shopping center. It is close to the water and offers activities along the pier with makeshift food stalls, restaurants, and a beach. The town exudes a relaxing feel.

Its my happy place. This time it was packed with people.
Its my happy place. This time it was packed with people. The weather (for a change) was fantastic. The rugby and football here on so lots on and a great atmosphere. There was a bouncy castle/fair thing by the pier that children loved. All the eateries were open and busy. Has a great atmosphere. Love this place.
I love to walk the pier but I just did not have enough time. Next time !

The owners are very kind, they also run a restaurant nearby. The breakfast is delicious and the house is clean and full of historic charm. Finally, Claremont House Is located in a lovely position, near the sea and Dun Laoghaire. Also, it is only 20-30 minutes by train from Dublin. I recommend it!
Lovely individual hotel with first class restaurant. Next to the railway for easy travel into Dublin and in a great area for a few restaurants and bars.
