Breakfast was lovely and staff very nice. Didn't care for where or room was situated we were at the back corner of building and the constant hum from the factory above was a little annoying, we had hoped for a room with the view of the lake which was one of the reasons we picked hotel, a a paying guest we were disappointed about that tbh. Overall staff could not be faulted very nice but I'd only stay again if we didn't have a view of road and cattle with the added factory but a room with a decent view of the scenery and the lake.

Tom’s place was perfect. We were attending a wedding at the Virginia Park Lodge and the house was located a short walk away. Tom was very friendly, helpful and responsive host and his home is beautifully decorated and has everything you need. Beds were super comfy and hot showers! Could not recommend this place more and if we are ever back in Virginia will be staying again!

Very quiet and tranquil,very friendly and helpful hosts, breakfast delivered to your door, near enough to village ( short drive) for all facilities, but if its peace and quiet you want, then this is the place for you.
Nice place to eat is Cafferys in nearby Old Castle, Shops, Pharmacy there also
