The Well Cafe (called beo - the well) and Brogans Pub are highly recommended for great atmosphere and food options. Spotted many other nice shops but didn't have the time to browse much. The town itself is perhaps not as quaint as others, although there are still great spots (and lots of contruction when we were there, so I bet we saw it at its worst), but it is so central to many cool places...the Cliffs, airport, Bunratty Castle and Craggaunowen Castle (cool historic area, must see!) and Aillwee Burren experience. Although there was construction work in the centre of town, it didnt hinder our enjoyment. The selection of shops were excellent and we enjoyed some retail therapy. We enjoyed excellent food at Brogans Bar & Restaurant in O'Connell Street. Perhaps there could be more venues for Breakfasts early morning..Guest review byKathleenIreland

Everything is within walking distance, and there's a lovely breakfast/brunch cafe directly beneath the hotel rooms. It was also greatly appreciated that there was a night porter who let guests into the hotel after a certain time - a huge bonus for two women travelling by themselves who appreciate any form of hotel security! It has a good sized car park, but you can also walk through to the shops in Ennis.
