It is the cutest village within 100 miles of Dublin with the wonderful powerscourt gardens, waterfall and house on the same estate. One of the prettiest old chuches in Ireland right outside the hotel entrance.

Enniskerry is a charming little village just a few miles outside Dublin in the foothills of the mountains. It has a wonderful antique shop with a friendly and knowledgeable proprietor, a selection of pubs and cafés, and a handful of gift shops. Powerscourt waterfall is nearby, with Powerscourt house and gardens a little further out.

Busy, pretty but few facilities on offer.
Busy, pretty but few facilities on offer. Summer hill house hotel was a big let down, from the numerous sets of keys not working in the door to the dusty cobweb surroundings and poor food, it was definitely not a place I would recommend to anyone!!!!!

The hotel, facilities, lunch and dinner were all excellent. The only disappointment was the breakfast. It cost €28 which is fine but then it was an extra charge(€7.50) if you wanted an omelet or eggs Benedict etc...which I think is a bit cheeky considering how much you are paying. The filtered coffee, tea and cappuccino were all awful...seemed like very cheap tasting tea/coffee...as if they were all watered down. It's pretty easy to make a good cup of tea or coffee...I think they could improve on that.
village is so nice and friendly and only a walk up to powerscourt house and gardens, the walk is a hill up to the main entrance. Enniskerry Inn I can only complement every thing, from the moment myself and 14 yr old grand daughter arrived, staff really friendly, food really nice and good choices on menu. They do not serve breakfast but that was alright we ate in a lovely cafe called Poppie's. It was my second time to stay there, the first time was with my husband and we loved it to.
Brendan was extremely helpful . He left lots of food for us which was much appreciated. The accommodation is a 7 min walk from the village. It is also walking distance to Powerscourt. The gardens at the property are beautiful. There is outside seating as well. The setting is very tranquil.
The staff are amazing. They made our stay very special. The setting is beautiful and I love that there is a reading room to play cards in or chill by the fire. The walk to the village is lovely and it's 5 mins walk from Powerscourt entrance for a ramble around their Gardens.
