Everything about our stay was amazing, Bernhard and Petra were absolutely lovely, going above and beyond to make us—and our furry companion, Harvey—feel at home.
From the moment we arrived, it was clear that pets are truly valued here. Our spacious room was thoughtfully prepared with water and food bowls, a cozy pet bed that Harvey adored, and even special treats wrapped with a little ribbon—a heartwarming touch! Harvey devoured them instantly.
Breakfast was a delight, with delicious food and the divine aroma of fresh coffee filling the air each morning. The location is easy to reach by car and offers a peaceful, picturesque setting. The stunning lake views and the large fenced field in the back were perfect for Harvey to run around and enjoy.

Very central location. Lovely Town! Dessie's Restaurant was particularly enjoyable. Fab food and service by the owner himself with fantastic personality. We were there for a Funeral but he lifted our spirits!

Both Kevin and Rose and their teams were very friendly, efficient and helpful. Breakfasts superb. We had lunch on the Terrace, and dinner in the Wilde ,and very much enjoyed both. The person who cleaned our room did a great job, and the valet was exceptional, taking us to Ashford Castle for dinner, and to the boat trip etc as well as parking and retrieving our car. Very quick to spot things. He was superb.Check-in was great. We arrived about 4pm on 19 March.Best Eggs Bene ever for breakfast ! Thoroughly enjoyed our 2 nights; warm and friendly atmosphere.Lovely food. Great service. We thoroughly enjoyed our treat to ourselves! Lunch on the patio was so relaxing! Great service and food there. Recommend the boat trip.
