I visited here recently. I was not impressed by what I saw. Plenty of staff around not doing very much. Difficult to get their attention as well. Went for something to eat in the bar. Managed to get the attention of one waiting staff as she passed. I asked for a menu. Got it and she promptly disappeared. I had to wave the menu in the air before I got attention and do the same when I paid the bill. I will not be back.

I really enjoyed our stay at Clare View B&B run by Denis, a very hospitable and informative host. The bedroom was warm and comfortable and I was especially impressed with bathroom underfloor heating. The location is just outside Ennistymon with beautiful scenic views out to Lahinch Beach and Clare coastline. Also found a new scenic back road to Lahinch as a result!
In the County Clare town of Ennistymon, Station House Bed & Breakfast is around 8.7 mi from western Ireland’s impressive Cliffs of Moher.

The beds were extremely comfy, the shower facilities great and super clean, and I loved having a choice of hot meals for breakfast (one should choose the breakfast option the evening before). The beautiful Lahinch beach was only a five-minute drive away, and the Cliffs of Moher, 18 minutes. Overall, this is a lovely guesthouse, and the hosts are doing an amazing job!

The location was perfect for visiting the cliffs. The staff were all so friendly and kind to me and my family. We arrived late and unfortunately could not eat at the hotel restaurant, everything closes early.

A relaxing evening after a full day. Arrived around 5 pm, had great food and drink at pub down the street, followed by a leisurely and beautiful stroll along the beach...all literally within yards of the hotel. Comfortable accommodations and great breakfast. Perfect spot for early start on sites like Moher and The Burren.

Absolutely amazing property and one heck of a great breakfast. Our host I forget the gentlemans name welcomed my daughter and I into this beautiful property. At breakfast he gave us the history on the Station House which was very interesting and educated us on the history of the building. Our accommodations were spectacular and I would stay here again in a heartbeat. Great WiFi & parking right in the front. Do not hesitate if you’re in this area.

I forgot to mention in my first review that our bed was so comfortable. And even though we had a difficult time in the beginning locating our room, we really did enjoy our stay. The view is stunning. The town is so sweet and quaint and charming. Everything was wonderful. The only thing was locating our room was a bit tricky. And a few of the Spa staff were kind enough to help us or point us in the correct direction to our room and our meals and drinks at the hotel bar was wonderful delicious and lovely and the staff were so friendly and helpful.

Ennistymon is my mother's family home.
Ennistymon is my mother's family home. On the anniversary of her death, we travelled there to celebrate her home and life. The town has changed a lot and is very welcoming to visitors. Amazing food is served in a fantastic eatery Byrnes. A great night with live music at Cooleys. The West coast of Clare is a true jewel in Ireland's crown. If you want to see Ireland at it's best and meet the loveliest and friendliest folk... then it is your destination. We did not want to leave.

We liked the location of the house. It's close to the centre of Ennistymon, everything is within walking distance. There are several bakeries, cafés, supermarkets and other small shops. The house is still very quiet as there is no major road nearby. The house is very spacious, with a large kitchen, 2 bathrooms, 1 guest toilet, cosy living room with fireplace, a conservatory and 3 bedrooms. The kitchen is adequately equipped. The landlady was always easy to reach and very helpful.
The hosts were really hospitable and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and Phyllis was kind enough to accommodate when the booking party grew from 2 to 5 people. The cottage itself is lovely and very comfortable. It comes equipped with everything required for cooking/laundry etc. Its perfectly located within a stones throw to Ennistymon and Lahinch/Doolin not so far away either.
Well located just outside Ennistymon and five minutes from Lahinch, with beautiful views. Room was clean, spacious, and quiet. Bathroom was bright and clean. Denis was very welcoming, with tea, biscuits, and chat upon arrival.
The room we stayed in was easily a three star hotel standard in all aspects, cleanliness, comfort and decor, the breakfast was lovely and staff couldn't have been more helpful and friendly!
