The space is wonderful. The location was a bit out there for a pedal bike ride, especially with the wind. No complaints.
Aran Islands Hotel, on Inis Mor, has spacious bedrooms with private bathrooms; some with balconies and views of Kileaney Bay and Kilronan Harbour. It has a restaurant and bar and free internet access....

This was really the best place on my trip so far! Sean and his crew here are really the warmest welcoming folks! They went above and beyond to make us feel welcome, provide us with information, transportation, breakfast and lots of things to check out on the island! I can’t say enough about how amazing the location is for walkable sights and clean facilities. We felt so loved and taken care of just like coming home to family!

It was amazingly clean! It was spacious and had amazing views of the North Atlantic. Alison left us a fresh loaf of 🍞 and jam for our breakfast with tea. It was delicious. Also, I had my best night's sleep in months there, so comfy!

Loved the location of the property. Quiet and comfortable. Host was very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was delicious!
The island is absolutely isolated. Only transportation is bicycles. Most tourists arrive on the morning ferry and leave on the evening ferry so when you stay overnight, it is very, very quiet and isolated. We really loved that part of it!

There is lots to see and do on the island.
There is lots to see and do on the island. Lots of history and prehistoric monuments. If you are into live music, there's no shortage of that.
The Islanders we met were kind and welcoming. We have dietary restrictions, but we're still able to find decent food to eat. There are some spectacular views, and Poll na bPéist in particular is definitely worth a visit.

It is always a joy to visit Inis Mor.
It is always a joy to visit Inis Mor. It is particularly enjoyable at this time of the year before the summer season kicks in. Plenty of walks and sights to see. If the weather is not good, there are the pubs where craic and chat are to be had. The music in Joe Watty's is worth checking out along with their beef caserole.

It is a wonderful place to look at the history of the islands and its culture and a place to visit the other islands. There are plenty of transport alternatives from the energetic person to someone who would find it difficult to walk and cycle around the island.

Inis Mor is a beautiful location.
Inis Mor is a beautiful location. Easy to get to via Ferry from either Doolin in Clare or Rosaveel in Connemara. Getting around the island by bike is great craic. The Wormhole is an amazing place to see and if you're brave enough to swim in.
We ate in Joe Wattys and in The Bar which was lovely. Fresh fish on both occasions. Great atmosphere. However, the last day of our stay was spoiled by the weather which turned very nasty and we decided to catch an earlier ferry back to the mainland.

We found Inishmor fascinating because of its beauty, history, and simplicity.
This island (the largest of the 3 Aran Islands) has about 800 residents, narrow, winding roads, a limited number of shops and restaurants, and a generous appreciation of tourists (and our tourist $$). We came by ferry (there are several ferry services), tho' there also is an airplane option. We parked our car in the ferry parking at Rossaveal, as no cars come on these ferries.
We appreciated being able to book a driiving tour after arriving on the island. We had thought we would rent bikes, but decided the narrow roads were daunting. Glad we were in a vehicle with an experienced Inishmor native driving!

Location is hard to get wrong as it's the Aran Islands so no matter where you look out it's beautiful.
Hosts were pleasant but not over welcoming for a B&B. I think this is a common theme which they should note.
Inismore is a lovely Island to explore, but I would recommend the hotel where we had lovely meals and live music each night and is only 10 mins walk from the B&B. If you book a meal with the hotel they will also pick you up which we gladly took advantage of on the second night.
We had a sea view and it was only a very short walk to the pier, where I enjoyed a quick dip. The place was spotless! The breakfast was exceptional, good quality food cooked to perfection! Penny was a great host and the staff were very good, helpful and very friendly.
The view from the bedroom was beautiful overlooking a tidal bay. It is a fab quiet location on the island and has every comfort for an excellent restful stay on Inishmore.
