Borris village is really picturesque and is a pleasant drive from Dublin.
We chose Borris House as a friend had attended a wedding here and we wanted access to the River Barrow and also be close to Mount Leinster.
Our family really loved the whole experience.

We had a lovely stay in a very cozy and beautiful house. The owner is so kind and made us feel like home, she welcomed us with the fireplace lit and the morning after we enjoyed a really delicious homemade complete breakfast.
The rooms are big, spacious and beautifully decorated, and the bathroom was new and very clean. She left for us at the room water, tea and coffee.
The house is right at the town center so we parked the car and walked everywhere. We will definetely repeat and we strongly recommend it.
