I love the serenity and pastoral beauty of the place.
I love the serenity and pastoral beauty of the place. My daily swims in the Shannon at high tide were wonderfully restorative. We were lucky to be here for both the National Clare vs Cork Hurling Championship and be part of the pulsating excitement at Casey's Pub where it was televised when Clare won! Same with the Armagh vs Galway Irish Football National Championship. My father was from Armagh, so you can figure who I was rooting for! Labasheeda, now a destination town on the Shannon Estuary Way tour, is very easy to get to from Ennis. We love the ease of flying into Shannon airport, bus to Ennis and then a bus to Labasheeda.Guest review byAnonymous - Review score10.0

The huts at Beds of Silk are simply perfect with everything you need to make your stay a memorable one! every detail was taking into account and you can see it! Picturesque small village with cafe, pub and shop (only open in the morning). Lovely estuary views from the Quay. Not much to do in the village, or even at nearby towns like Kilrush, but a nice spot for peace and quiet, and a good base for those willing to day trip further afield.Guest review byClareIreland
