Letterkenny – 73 hotels and places to stay

Boasting fantastic leisure facilities, including a 20-metre pool, hot tub and gym, The Mount Errigal Hotel is one mile from Letterkenny. It has a bistro, restaurant, and rooms with free Wi-Fi.

We’ve been twice now and absolutely love it. The food down in the bar is phenomenal and such good value also. We definitely need to make our stays yearly 😅

Station House Letterkenny is a 3-star modern contemporary boutique hotel, offering high-quality accommodation. The hotel is located in the town centre close to all shops, pubs, and restaurants.

There's nothing bad to say. Lovely staff . Lovely room. Odd as this comment may seem, the fact that the flooring in the rooms was wooden or laminate made it so much easier to push on as a wheelchair user. I also like the fact that there is a choice in wheelchair accessible room, I.e. 2 beds or 1 when two people are staying. All too often it is assumed that if you require an accessible room and you will be coming with someone else that you automatically want to or need to share a room and so in terms of accessible rooms available in hotels it is usually the case that only a double bed is available in that room. I like that the station house gives a choice and other hotels could take note and learn. I will come to the hotel again and would recommend it. Thanks for a lovely stay

Breakfast - table service rather than buffet, but the number of courses more than enough and very high quality cooking and presentation. Dinner was excellent with a good choice. Probably overpriced.

Quiet location. The lady seemed friendly enough. I think she and her husband live here too. The room was spacious and the big chair was great!

A great base for touring Donegal, but plenty to see and do in the town itself. Good shopping, great pubs and restaurants, sports centre so something for all ages. Town centre driving is difficult but lots of options to go round the town instead of through it. Parking us easy and cheap enough.

The Yellow Pepper Cafe was excellent, on the main street.

The Yellow Pepper Cafe was excellent, on the main street. Also the restaurant in the Radisson Blue hotel was excellent for family food and the waiters were super friendly. Lots of shopping options. Easy to get to Derry or on up to Buncrana/Malin or over west to Gweedore.

We didn't spend much time in Letterkenny other than for dinner. We ate at the Yellow Pepper which i would highly recommend. It's a robust town that i would have liked to explore and the surrounding area but we were on our way to another area of Donegal. We cabbed to dinner so we were able to have a few glasses of wine with dinner. Cabs were easy to get just outside the bank. Quick ride home with good service. Traffic during rush hour was busy although not as busy as a larger city.

Just used it as a base, plus it was a bank holiday and shops were all closed. So left in the morning and didn’t come back until evening. But it was a busy town traffic wise. 3.30 in the morning and traffic was still driving down the Main Street. Could see it but noise wise we couldn’t hear it.

I want to the hotel for a small one nite break but now think it was too short, 2 or more nites wud be more beneficial, the hotel staff were very helpful, the food in the restaurant was 1st class as cud not fault it, the facilities where brilliant as the pool, sauna, steam room and jacuzzi was a bliss just relaxing and no cares, next time 2 or more days as can be used as a base and travel around, 5/5 for me 👍

Hotel is located in town near all shops, bars, restaurants. Room and bed comfortable, plenty of towels, tea and coffee making facility and good choice of channels on tv. The best part of our stay was the delicious food served in the restaurant. We ate there both nights and tried a good number of starters, mains and dessert. Staff were so nice and very helpful in the restaurant, at reception and the housekeeping staff who were very busy still managed to smile and say hello when passing. A really great hotel to stay in if your in Letterkenny

I recently stayed at this hotel and had a fantastic experience. The staff were outstanding—always friendly, helpful, and went above and beyond to ensure a pleasant stay. The hotel’s location is perfect, offering easy access to key attractions and amenities in the area. The rooms were very comfortable and impeccably clean. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel for anyone looking for a great place to stay with top-notch service and an unbeatable location. Sorry to the bar staff who we kept up late, we had so much fun though.

I've stayed in the Mount Errigal Hotel many times in the past, our room was much smaller than before. I think the hotel needs an upgrade. Rooms are not very inviting, very basic
