United StatesExcellent facility, we stayed in the cottage, which was great. Fell asleep to the sound of waves from the ocean nearby. Remote location, but absolutely beautiful. Very nice staff and a great breakfast!

United StatesMost comfortable and best nights sleep during our entire three week vacation in Ireland. Must say also the best shower we experienced during our trip as well. Ray met us to explain how to use everything in the apartment. Even though we didn't use, very nice adequate kitchen if were to rent this apartment to base out of.

there are beautiful beach walks in the area but it takes some driving to get to them. It is a major golfing destination so very good for that. We are not golfers. The perfect base for exploring North Donegal, close enough to Glenveagh National Park, Fanad lighthouse (via Harry Blaney Bridge) and Inishowen Peninsula (via ferry from Rathmullan) Ards Forest Park (and Friary) only 20 mins away is well worth a visit, the coastal walk from Friary leads to the most spectacular secluded beaches There are two wonderful beaches, Tra Beag in the town and Tra Mor just outside. The beaches were beautiful, you could go for lovely long walks, and with 2 dogs with us, this was great. Ards Forest Park was lovely and worth many visits. We ate in the Singing Pub a number of times, food was excellent. Takeaways from the Goose and Gander very good. Golf at Rosapenna Golf Courses challenging and enjoyable. Downings is a beautiful small village very picturesque with fabulous beaches and views. Paddy popped in to say hello. The dogs absolutely loved it. Opened the door and they could be free and enjoy the sea at times also.
