Mary was a wonderful host.
She provided helpful advice on sites to see in the area.
The B&B is in a great location when visiting historic sites.
In one day we were able to drive to Bective Abbey, Trim Castle, the Hill of Ward, Kells, the Spire of Lloyd, the Hill of Slane, Slane Castle, and Donaghamore Cemetery.
The B&B is also close to Newgrange, the Hill of Tara and Monasterboice.
Our bed was very comfortable and we enjoyed our tasty continental breakfast.
There is a secure and convenient parking area in front of the house.
A very nice restaurant/ bar is located right across the road.
There is a good chipper a short walk away.
Featuring quiet street views, Dunderry Lodge Self Catering Family Lodges in Navan provides accommodations and a garden. With garden views, this accommodation features a patio.

Brilliant place! A little rural but that suited fine. Lovely set of small cottage type accommodation. Large open living area, good cooking facilities, seating for four, small courtyard to front facing sunrise. Easy access and secure free parking with gate code and keybox. Large king size bed (Cottage 2) and lovely interior decoration throughout. Was looking for somewhere quiet to do report work and this was perfect - but close enough to Navan and Trim for tourist stays or just well-being. Would be a great place for a small group in a couple of units for a collective chill out break. It would make a lovely place as a base and to sit and relax in the evening chatting in the very small courtyard to the front. Bathroom had great shower and space. The eco-measures of recycling, timed heating and water etc. were all good to see. Didn't have much interaction with owners but pleasant gent on the way out did the gate code for me. Large flat screen TV in living area and wifi brilliant coverage and strength. Kitchen had everything you need - hob, fridge, microwave, cooking utensils etc. Quite near the M3 and Boyne drive with a lot of historical sites within driving distance.

The location being across the street from the entrance to the Hill of Tara was perfect for us. Mary was a gracious host and made sure everything was right for us, even fresh mil and brown bread for breakfast. The unit was spotless and well equipped; we highly recommend

Quiet, clean, roomy, beautiful home and setting. The host was friendly and helpful
We want to Trim, a lovely little city. People were super friendly and proud to show off the sites and share stories. We regret leaving for Dublin which was just another big city to us.
Easy parking
The folks at the tourism office and castle entrance were funny and friendly

I only stayed one night or less, actually (from 6 pm to 3 am the next day), so I cannot review Navan, but I really liked the pub and live music I found. It was the pub with the cat called Henry, but don't ask me about the pub's real name or the address. Somewhere in the centre.

I really enjoyed the trip and Tours to trim a castle in a little town of Trim!
Also, the trip to Bru na Boone to the buried tombs, is definitely a worthwhile visit. Make sure you buy your ticket in advance and make sure you sign up to see both Newgrange and Knowth

Room was extremely dark, even with lights on. Central light in room not working.
Not great for getting ready to leave for a sons wedding in another location. Son who was the groom was in room next door and lighting very poor also. Pulled back all curtains but then others outside could see in.

So much to do in the area.
So much to do in the area. I loved the scenic drives and historic buildings. Shame you have to book online for some things. Not everyone has this facility. Also some places have stopped taking cash and a lot of people still want to pay cash for things.

The town is quite small and compact and has a selection of shops, bars and restaurants. When we were there it was packed with young kids and youths (late afternoon/early evening). Not sure if this is a regular thing. You can get a direct bus from Dublin

We were only using the hotel as a place to stay in Navan for the night. The reception staff were friendly on arrival and were helpful in organising us a taxi top go to our event in the town. The entrance to the hotel is well kept. We didn't spend anytime in the bar but it looked nice from a far.
The power from the shower was fantastic.
The location was great for visiting bru na Boine and Trim Castle. We also enjoyed the town of Navan. Room was very spacious, very clean and overall great! Having the restaurant made things very easy. We enjoyed two days of breakfast and one dinner. All very good. All the staff was wonderful. Would totally recommend!!!!
