What a lovely spot! Beautiful countryside, comfortable beds, Trish was a warm & gracious hostess, and we got to enjoy our very first beautifully prepared Traditional Irish Breakfast. This was a perfect distance from Dublin to get our travels through Ireland started.

Lovely small cabin built over a pond. Wildlife on either side of the bedroom. The sound of nature in the morning is very refreshing. Very comfortable, clean and peaceful. Perfect place to unwind and relax.
Complete with WIFI (if needed) and more importantly, a nice Nespresso Coffee machine. Electric Fire/Heater in the living area and Electric Radiator in the bedroom provide ample heat. Nice, safe and secure parking onsite.
Totally recommend for any solo traveler or couple looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of urban environments but yet still be close enough to civilization when required. Nice proximity to Portlaoise and Portarlington.

The main hotel and staff were amazing. We only stayed two night , we used the SPA for a discounted 25€ each but it was not worth it.
Food and drinks good price and tasted nice.

Great location outside of busy Dublin. Awesome cafe in town! The Stables were well built and maintained! I would stay here instead of staying in Dublin if traveling west.

Julie-Anne & Ivan are excellent hosts, They were flexible with check-in and check-out times. I found the place spotless and my stay was comfortable.

The owners could of put the heating on the heating clock didn't work could really do with a big face lift.
