I highly recommend Michael A's Pub as a place to stay when visiting Miltown Malbay. The rooms have been newly renovated and are absolutely fantastic—spotlessly clean, modern, and very comfortable. It’s also in a perfect location, right in the heart of town, making it easy to explore everything nearby.
This beautiful seaside accommodation combines superb service, a relaxing spa and spectacular golf links for a luxurious stay on the coast, 45 minutes from Shannon Airport.

We arrived after 7pm but Jennifer & Patrick (hosts) had the heating on and the keys were at the property. Bedding / towels etc. provided. Lovely spacious, clean cottage. we particularly enjoyed lighting the stove and sitting in front of it watching movies with the kids on the wet blustery nights. You will need to purchase fuel and lighters to get it going though (not provided). Also, bring teabags, sugar, milk etc., as not provided but otherwise, a lovely place to enjoy a few days break from the hustle sand bustle!
Spanish Point is a beautiful beach less than 1km down the road. The Armada Hotel provides lovely food as does the Bellview Hotel close by.
We visited Lahinch beach which was busy but beautiful on the sunny New Year's day! We also visited Kilkee which is a lovely village / town down the coast about 20 mins drive.

Very scenic beautiful beaches.
Very scenic beautiful beaches. However, dogs must be on a lead at all times. A few beaches dogs were allowed offlead but only before 11am and after 6pm. We got round it by having a 20ft lead. Also local shops most deal in cash. To lift money from ATM incurrs charges and exchange rates which adds around 6.00 sterling to a transaction.Nearest bank about 30km away so suggest taking cash for local shopping. Very busy at cliffs of Moher, Doolin and other tourist hot spots but explore smaller lanes and get just as good a view but without the crowds and extortionate prices

The village of Quilty is a quaint smallish village. The views of the sea are fabulous and there are pubs and restaurants to enjoy. I will warn you though. Quilty has a unique area that gathers seaweed on the beach and the ocean gives you a full bodied aroma of this gift.

In the mist of storms, Quilty Holiday Cottages were just perfect. Pool provided the outlet to burn off the excess energy in the kids, Doolin Cave was a great adventure and just 25min drive from Quilty. We mainly cooked in the cottage as I have picky eaters but the Pizza / Kebab shop in the town was great. So fresh and good quality food. Size was a little of the large side but can't really complain about getting too much food.

Quaint cottage in a fantastic location with wonderful sea views from the kitchen window and the back of the property. Located on a quiet country road so very peaceful in the evenings. Beaches within walking distance and seafield beach (with life guard in the summer) a short drive away. Shops/Quilty village a short drive also. Good Wi-Fi connection.
Sinead, David and family were very helpful hosts; regularly checking if anything was needed if I saw them out and about.
Fantastic cottage (Type B) in a beautiful location. We stayed here as part of a trip for a wedding at the Armada hotel nearby…less then 10 minute drive. Cottage was spacious, clean and had everything we needed for the trip. Perfect for our family of 6 with 4 young children. Kids loved visiting the donkeys and amazing to have a swimming pool and playground on site!! The views were simply breathtaking too! Would highly recommend…
The room we stayed in was lovely, place was spotless, good location, only a 15/20 minute walk to the village in quilty, not far from Milltown malbay either. The owner was a very lovely women, she was very nice to chat to and accommodated us well
very kind and friendly owner. We arrived very late at night, but were warmly received and accommodated in the room we had booked. There is an evening bar next to the hotel, where the crowd is very pleasant and sociable.
Lovely place with views to the sea and everything you need for your stay. Clean and comfortable and the owners are very friendly. We went to The Quilty Tavern for something to eat and locals were very pleasant too.
